For about 10 mins try saying "I will remember my dream" before you go to bed. And give it a while. It might take a few days for it to work. |

Set an alarm to 3.00-5.00 am. You should remember your dream pretty well if you wake up from it during a REM phase. Write the dream down immediately or the just write down some key words that help you to remember the dream when you read them later. After you start writing your dreams down, you recall them better and better. |

Not sure if you smoke cannabis, but I recently chose to cut down because of my quest for Lucidity. Make sure you aren't going to bed stressed, overtired, drunk stoned or anything. You need your mind and body to be completely in sync with itself when you lay down. If you are smoking, do what I am doing now, read it in a different thread. Cut down to 3-5 bowls a day, and don't smoke past 7PM. Last 2 nights I was able to recall dreams, comparatively to the 5 days i couldn't remember anything at all. |

hmmm i haven't herd of that before, ill try that tonight. Thanks for the tip and hopefully it will solve my dream recall problem |

Hi Calpul, |
|
Lower your stress throughout your day. Eat better. Find out what is wrong with your situation and try to fix it. Thats what I did. I didnt dream for 4-5 days straight, but realized It was because I was having an abnormal sleep pattern, was using drugs before bed, (cannabis and caffiene) and was having a rough week at work. Just take a step back from everything and try to see what is not working for you, and try to change it. If you cant, dont sweat it, that will cause more stress |
|
When you wake up, try to recall as many dreams as possible before you move. Apparently moving / getting out of bed can mess with recall. |

"Don't kill me. I'm in a dream right now, and if you kill me I'll die in real life too!" -Me, age 5-8, talking to a dinosaur.
Even if you remember nothing write down how you feel, what is going through your mind etc. Keep this up a week or so and you'll have some kind of recall. |

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

Thanks everyone for your reply's. i have been reading through and im going to take on-board alot of your suggestions. But good news i did actually remember a dream on Sunday night. |

Drink a lot of tea that can induce dream recall before bed, like sweet gale, and some other stuff you can search on google. |

I agree with what's been said. Try not to get too stressed during the day, and also take some time to unwind before sleeping. Try sleeping earlier than usual. You'd be surprised at the effects it brings. Overall, try to have a better and decent sleeping pattern conducive to recalling your dreams~ |

Improving your memory is a strange process, unlike any other skill that you can learn, in that progress is very unpredictable and, when it occurs, it seems to come out of nowhere. Without a tracking mechanism (dream journal) it's very difficult to see a correlation between effort and improved dream recall. |
