Now, I know the title is a litte...over the top, but trust me when I say this, some of my dreams ARE over the top.


Anyways, there isn't much else to say so i'll leave you with this

"I don't think there's anything on this planet that more trumpets life than the sunflower. For me, that's because of the reason behind its name. Not because it looks like the sun but because it follows the sun. During the course of the day, the head tracks the journey of the sun across the sky. A satellite dish for sunshine. Wherever light is, no matter how weak, these flowers will find it. And that's such an admirable thing. And such a lesson in life"

One of my stranger dreams -and also one of the shortest- occured after watching a horror movie. The movie itself was about some demon spirit or something, that isn't what stuck with me, what I remember was a fetus that opened it's eyes.
Now, i've have dreams with children in it before, but not like this.

I was walking through a gray city with tall buildings lining the streets. There were no cars or buses, no people and none of the buildings had doors. Just windows. Just rows upon rows of windows, from the first floor to the highest floor.


I don't remember walking towards any of them but I was standing just outside one of the buildings. Looking at the window and seeing nothing. It was dark inside.
Suddenly there was a unborn fetus, the size of a small toddler with a face that was partially formed like a childs. The rest of it's body was was a reddish colour, because it's skin was transparent so I could see the veins and blood easily. It was sitting on the window sill, looking right at me with it's mouth open.

I moved quickly to the next window, I didn't want to stare at it anymore. But it followed me. It moved just as fast and I did and sat in the next window sill.
Soon I was running through the city, in the middle of the road, being followed and watched by it. Wherever I looked, no matter how high up, it would be in a window looking right back at me.

And then I woke up.

I often have dreams about places I used to live or visit. This is just one of the many i've had about one of my old apartments.

I was in what looked like my old apartment, only slight different. I had two snakes, a black one and a green one. I was standing on furniture so that I didn't touch them and one had eggs. Then my best friend walked in through the front door. She tried to touch one, it attacked her.


Another one would be...

Me, my aunt and a famous person (we'll just call him "G") were at my old basement apartment. There was a party upstairs through the rest of the house. My aunt went to bed in my mother's room and "G" was lying on the couch. Then, a guy and two girls knocked on the door because we were being annoying. Then another two girls came and wanted to bring the party downstairs, they had pets with them. I don't know why but I said "Thanks for the ice-cream". I grabbed two ice-cream bars and put them in my room. Then there were more people at the door, all men.

"Z" and I were lying on the grass in my backyard, kissing feverishly. We wanted to "bump uglies" there was no where to do it. We decided to get on the bus. We're talking and then he says we could buy an apartment. After that we just stare at each other, smiling.

My friends are often in my dreams, alot of the time they die. On rare occassions though, things like this happen.

I was at my friends house, only it was very different. We were in what I presumed to be the basement, only it was scarecly decorated but welcoming nontheless. We went unpstairs to a foyer type area, I started putting my coat on. I remember looking into a long mirror trying to rearrange my outfit. I was wearing a denim wrap dress over some pants, with a trenchcoat over that.
When I was finished a young man walked through the door, he was visiting my friend. I said my goodbyes and left. Walking through the city. It was a nice day out and everything around me was so vivid. I remember the trees and the teenagers I seen playing in a basketball court near a school that I recognised as one I went to.

I took a short cut through the alley, like I always did on my way home. I was staring at the graffitti as I walked by, but as I got farther in I starting wondering where I lived. I couldn't remember. Then, I came to a stop, there was a tall wooden fence blocking my way. I thought about going through but I could see dogs on the side, through the small spaces between the wooden boards. I turned and started running back through the alley. Noticing things that I hadn't before. A car with a woman sitting in it, she wasn't doing anything.
I tried going back to my friend's house but I couldn't get there, either. I found my friend's mother at some place, it looked like one of those train stations where you buy your tickets and wait. Large windows made up most of the small building, with a glass door on the side.
I went inside and spoke to her, telling her that I couldn't remember where I lived. She didn't know either.

You know when there's people in your dreams that you don't know? But feel like you've known them for so long? yeah....me too

I was in my home, wearing a long gold dress and speaking to my aunt. Then there were two foreign men who came down the stairs. They were both wearing black pants and white button up shirts. I don't remember when I got it but I had a small black snake. He was about the size of my arm, from my elbow to the tips of my fingers. He slithered down onto the carpet. He had a name, but I don't remember it.
Anyways, I went out of the house with two girls. I told my aunt I was going to the gym. We walked through a bit of forest, it was nighttime so I couldn't see very well. As we got closer to a small building, I could the light from the inside.


It wasn't decorated like a gym at all, it had carpet and a T.V. One of the girls and I started following a workout dvd, it was difficult to do since I was in a dress and heels.
When I went back into the house, I had a larger snake. This time, it was yellow and white. I recognised it as the Albino Burmese Python, my favourite. I carried it on my shoulders until it slithered away.

There's this dream I had years ago, i've never forgotten it and I don't think I ever will. It's funny though, it does sort of represent the situation in my life now

My mother, my cousin Shannen and I were looking for my younger cousin Frankie (Yes, he is Shannen's little brother). We were in some small apartment. When we reached one of the bedrooms my mum was the first person inside. She went over to Frankie. I stood in the middle of the room and Shannen went over to the window on the far side of the room, almost directly across from where I stood. The window was open about half way, she sat on the sill.
I don't know why why but Frankie put his hand behind a bunk bed that was on the far side of the room. On the right side. He was looking for something. All of a sudden a small, doll-like hand reached out and stabbed him. The knife went through the center of his hand. Blood was spilling out of his hand and while my mum was helping him, Shannen fell through the window. I ran to the window and stuck my head out, she was on the ground below. Her body was twisted and broken, but her eyes were open, she was awake. She seemed so far down, it was a long fall. A guard came and lifted her up like a duffle bag. He tossed her aside, then went back to his post.
Suddenly, I was standing in the middle of the room again. Mum was helping Frankie and Shannen had fallen through the window again. It happened over and over again. Each time she would fall through the window, I would run and poke my head out and watch the guard pick her up and toss her to the side.
The last time it happened, I ran to the window and stuck my head out but this time the guard hit her with a beating stick and tossed her aside.
