I just made my account today and I thought I'd make a dream journal.

I guess could say that I have above average recall, I just never write them down.

I am very excited to do this so I can remember a lot of my dreams, study dream signs and eventually have my first lucid dream.

Ironically, I didn't remember much from the previous night. Just flashes here and there. These flashes included a character from a soap opera I watch. Everything else is very fuzzy.

Instead, I'll share a dream I had from last week before I started to keep this journal.

I was with my mom and my sister and we were walking down a trail through a forest. At either side of us were this huge pens with different animals in them. There were bison, hyenas, warthogs(big ones), and zebras from my recollection. When we were done walking through that area, we walked into a river. The water was perfectly clear, although blue. It looked like a swimming pool. It was the purest water I had ever seen. There were three different rivers and each of us were in one. We were trudging through the rivers. Mine was farthest to the left, it was near a rail and beyond that rail was a much bigger body of water. I remember feeling scared that I would fall in. I ended up pushed right next to the ledge, struggling to stay in the purity of the river. That's all I remember.

Last night I remember quite a few dreams, but no details. Just flashes. There is one segment I particularly remember though.

I was in either a supermarket or a library. There was a rack full of movies and games (playstation). I remember seeing a movie there that I just had to have. It was from a book that I really liked, so I decided to get it when I was done with what I was doing. (Don't remember what else I was doing.)

When I was done and wanted to get the movie, I reached to get it only it was gone. I freaked out, going through the whole thing and I remember screaming at the employees of the place.

I also remember something to do with a swimming pool. I have very many recurring dreams set at a swimming pool. Ironically, not the one that I go to anymore, but the one I used to go to for swimming lessons.

Edit(8 hrs later): Thanks to random discussions in school, another flash of a dream came to me!
I was at my city's science museum and my sister and I were at the bubble pot. (Lots of bubble making solution) and we were competing to see who would make the biggest bubbles. I won.

Just like usual, flashes and no huge details. If I remember, from now on I'll start drinking apple juice before bed.

1. I was racing my sister on a skidoo to get to my school because I had a choir performance.

2. I dreamt about a character from 90210 (Jasper). He was very creepy.

3. I signed into my yahoo account, but I used an account I never use.

Had I been doing reality checks, I think I might have become lucid last night. The dream took place at school. I knew something was odd about my wearing pajamas to school in the dream. Dang it!

Other dreams included flashes of me being in a car with my mom. I'm looking for a certain car with a symbol on it. The windows were all down and I could hear the person in the car behind us singing to the same radio station we were listening to.

Not much else to report. The power went out during the night and I didn't get a great sleep once I woke up around 4 am. It's really hard to fall asleep when the only sound you hear is your family's snoring.

In my dream, my family was looking for a new house. We were looking in an area where there were a lot of identical houses. They all looked the same. All of the houses were on different positions on a hill.

We entered one of the houses and I really liked it. It had two floors, you had to climb up a ladder to get to the top. It was like really small but comfortable. The problem was, every time I tried to climb the ladder, the whole house tilted to the side (from being uneven on the hill). This of course, made me not want the house, despite my family's arguments. We went to look for another one.
