Minor Dream Recall (Have to restart somewhere)
Here is my color key
Dream, Non-Dream, Lucid Dream,
Dream 6.0
This dream takes place entirely in my Real Analysis course that I had last semester - wonderful I'm now dreaming about math, which like normal makes no sense in my dreams. The entire dream is a weird mix between baseball and mathematics and given that the math made little sense to me in the dream and I'm not the best at baseball, it wasn't my favorite scene at the moment.
The entire thing had to do with proving something about second derivatives and sine and cosine in a manner that didn't make sense in reality (as though we could change some tiny seemingly inconsequential thing in math and the second derivative of sine would no longer be minus sine but something else). And somehow we were going to demonstrate this by playing baseball with the desks in the room - and I was up for first bat.
Oddly enough my baseball abilities in dreams are apparently better then they are in reality and I got a hit in on the first swing O_O (GO PASCAL!)... And because of my lighter dream-weight I even made it to second base. In between the runs though, the teacher would teach class, so after the second person swung and missed, I had a deviant idea... while everyone was watching the blackboard I took off and stole third - and before anyone could react tapped the front of the classroom (home base). Can one steal home base? I didn't know, I never tried it in baseball and I wasn't a pro on the rules by any stretch... but I managed to pull it off with the person holding the ball just inches behind me before they tripped and fell on the grass that flipped back and forth between a field and a floor tile.
It was quite a strange dream with any number of dream signs, but ultimately, I was too focussed on the math to realize that. At least I was able to remember it though.
