      What do Dogs Dream about?

This is my Dream Journal thing.

I think my Dream Recall is pretty good, my mum has always woken me up and asked what I dreamt about, so I've been doing that since I was little.

I can vaguely remember what I dreamt about last night.

      It wasn't lucid, though.

I was with my friend, (and fellow member) Loaf. We were in my room, and I started to get really hungry, so I thought it would be a good idea to make some pancakes.

I'm not exactly a good cook, so I decided to look at a cook book. I found a manuel thing, but for some reason it had all these prices for food in it, so I decided to flag the cook book idea and make them myself.

The first thing I got was parsley for some reason. I can remember telling Loaf that I was making "Savoury Pancakes".

Then loaf changed into a fat old guy, and the dream ended quite abruptly after he started saying some weird things.

I never got to make the pancakes

      Mmmm

I had a odd dream last night. Not sure if it was Lucid or what...

I'm pretty sure somewhere in my dream I realized I was dreaming, but I didn't know what to do next so I just kinda wandered aimlessly around the field where I was at.

So I can remember being at an icecream truck and usually I don't have sugar so it was weird for me to be there, and usually when I dream about eating sugar I try not to eat it and stuff. So for some reason I was adding all this chocolate and eating it. (It didn't taste very nice)

Then I ended up in this outdoor supermarket and saw all these people who go to my school.

      :S

      Eating my dog.

I dreamed that me and my mum were in Hagley Park with our dog. I have no idea how we got there because we don't have a car anymore (it died).

Suddenly a random guy comes up to us.

"Please get out of the park, it's closing time." (There is no such thing as closing time in Hagley Park, though) '

Then my mum said, "This is the last time our dog will ever go to the park".

I can remember feeling really upset, because I realized that we would be taking our dog to the butchers and eating him.

I was pleading with my mum not to take my dog to the butchers but for some reason she wouldn't listen.

Then I txted Josh and he gave me his phone number and I called him and told him everything. All he said was, "Oh really". So then I hung up, and me and mum had to walk up the hill to where the butchers was and kill the dog.

It was disturbing. (I think I woke up crying).

      Second Lucid!

Copyed this from my blog. I'm too lazy to re-write it.

I am at a indoor playground with Josh, aka Loaf. By indoor I mean it is inside a tent. I'm talking to Josh about something, and then suddenly I think, "I'm lucid". Josh had always told me to look at a watch or your hands when you are becoming lucid, so I look at my hands. The left hand has six fingers, though they are a bit blurry. I have a few plans of things I would like to do while being Lucid, so I smoothly turn back to the still talking Josh and say, "Sorry, I have to go now, because I'm lucid." Josh keeps talking and I climb up to the top of the tent.

It was a weak lucidity, but for some reason I knew where I wanted to go, and just went there! Those that know me may have guessed the place I wanted to be was the Chocolate Shop. No one was looking after the shop (not that that would have stopped me), and I grabbed a few bars of chocolate. They had sugar in them (and I don't have sugar normally). They tasted all right, but not as nice as usual. For some reason my mum was beside me. I ignored her and kept stuffing my face with chocolate. (I know, but I didn't know how long this was gonna last, and I wanted to eat the chocolate). And hey presto, after I'd finished the chocolate I sunk back into the normal dream state. I forgot that I could eat everything in the store. The shop keeper walked back in. We left the store.

      The end.

      Fantastic!
Its so great how nobody was at the counter of the chocolate shop. I'm glad something I said about lucid dreaming got through to you.
Anyway you know that RavenKnight person? I have been talking with all those shared dreaming people, and holy crap. There was a link at one point. This fat woman that appeared in RavenKnights dream, and mine too. RavenKnight managed to recall her how she looked, her personality, and her age group! I crapped myself! How the hell did she know!?!

      Wow! But creepy.

The first time I was lucid I thought about you as well... But I was really confused, because you said I should try a backflip and all that. And I didn't want to break my back.

It was weird. Really weird. But awesome!

Oh yeah, I remember you telling me about that.
That kind of stuff used to freak me out too. But I eventually realized that dreams can't affect me physically. If I brake my arm, its not going to be hurt in reality (thank goodness).
Although I still get worried I will hurt myself, so I can relate.

      Yeah.

It was funny though in the second lucid. You were rambling on about stuff... and even when I was leaving you kept talking

      Pretty much.

No, that's unfair. I was listening. For a bit.

      The Cartoon Killer Whale.

Me and a friend were in a tiny rubber boat in the Lytellton Harbour, and she's talking about the wind in the sails and all that. The rubber boat didn't have any sails, so I got really bored and stopped listening. For some reason I kept seeing fins in the water, and got really scared because there were sharks all around us, though there aren't any sharks in NZ apparently...

We finally reach the other side of the harbour, and there's a floating airport there. My mum and old netball coach are standing there. I clamber onto the ground, thinking "WOW I'm alive", and then my mum says, "Careful Felicity, The ground is weak, you'll fall through." So I start freaking out, thinking I'm going to die anyway.

Me and my mother get into the little rubber boat, and start going toward the other (and more populated) part of the harbour. In the distance I see a black killer whale leap out of the water, it's massive in the distance, so I was pretty sure it was as big as one of the airplane's up close.

Surprise, Surprise the shark decides to follow us to the other part of the harbour. We ditch the boat and start swimming. We manage to swim really really fast, and we only just make it up the ladder to the harbour. The shark leaps out of the water, and for some reason it's on a leash.

At this point the dream turns into a cartoon. Lisa Simpson runs and ties the shark up under the harbour, so it can't hurt anyone anymore. Everyone is celebrating. However, the shark tricks Lisa Simpson into releasing it.

The shark is caught again, and everyone lives.

      That's what my mum said!

No... The boat was being rocked towards the harbour by the waves... So we decided to swim, which would be faster.

      Ohyum. Coffee!

So me and Josh (AKA Loaf) were at school and I decided I wanted some coffee.

I wanted to know where the sugar and stuff was, and someone gave me the salt shaker that yesterday IRL me and Josh had "used".

There was all this black stuff in the shaker, which for some stupid reason I assumed was salt, so I spent time picking out to get to the sugar.

Then Josh decided he also wanted some coffee. So we added the sugar and drank them on our sacred couch, watching the rain outside.

And they were actually really good.
