Hey my name is Chris (no it's not :roll: but to you it is), I'm from Holland (ya, really)... I've been into lucid dreaming as long as I can remember, it started as dreams in which I knew I was dreaming when I was little. Lately however I found that lucid dreaming is really enjoyable and worth the effort...

Since my handwriting realy s*cks at 4AM I decided to create a dreamjournal, here. I will try to post my dreams every day, with date and such, and I hope the whole of it will be an interesting read...

I was ill tonight (physically), so maybe that had effect on the fact that I don't really remember a lot of dreams... However i do remember some, so here goes nothing.

My school was getting a renovation for some reason, the ground looked like desert and my coordinator (one level higher that mentor in school hiarchy) was just explaining how the schedule for holliday's was this year. If I remeber correctly (which I probaply dont) we had a large summer and a large but shorter christmas holliday. Me and Wrd decided to do better that the constructiomn workers and went to school to see what we could do. We met a girl (quite hot by the way) who tried to get us to come with her but since we where "on a mission" we didn't.
That is where the scenen changed. I don't remeber how I got there (though I do remember I have remembered, making sense?) but I was in the middle of a circle of trees, I also saw two other people but payed no to little attention to them. The trees were unnreasonable high, and I jumped up and reached the tops. The wind blew me into an arena like contrtuction and I thought that I was going to crash (it is impossible for me to crash in a dream, so fear is never involved) but for some reason I had a wand (Harry Potter :eek:) and pronounced some inexisting word that slowed me down.

When I woke up in the morning, I pittied the fact that I was too lazy to write down my dreams in the night, because I do remember that I dreamed, just not what I dreamed.

I decided to Go to sleep again (I'm ill so I can sleep all day if I wish), this time all I remebered was that I took a lot of pills... (No I'm not a junky:cheeky:)

Well, I hope lucidity is going to visit me tonight, coz I really feel like practicing my flying skills (I usually have to "swim" my way up, only the air has less friction that water, very annoying)...
Oh wait, I just remebered I dreamed something concerning a cave and a cart...

I found out that pain (physical) really messes with your sleep. I have a terrible toothache, and for some reason the first five hours of my sleep consisted of a half-dream that consisted of my mind splitting up in 6 people trying to diagnose me (like in the series "house")... It was fun for a minute or ten, but 5 hours is way too much... Anyway after some painkillers I fell asleep and had some interesting dreams.

My first dream started by running on the street. I was running towards a mob of people with guns and weapons, they where killing pretty much everyone, it was a free for all. I ran and ran, pretending to be shot (actually got shot, but it was "just" in my side so it wasnt too bad and I forgot about it), while pretending to be shot I was pretty much floating (huge dreamsign) and kinda busy trying to avoid hitting cars that were parked at the side. At some point I saw an open roof window, I jumped up, grabbed a sort of iron wire and jumped through (dream sign dammit). Inside was a sort of dorm with a lot of people getting ready to go outside. I asked for a rifle and got one, looked like toys but felt like real. I went outside shot around for a couple of times, I shot a guy who tried to shoot me (really strange, I really abhore killing and am not the agressive type, so dreamsign again) and told everybody to leave me alone or get trouble with me. They respected me and left me alone.

The next scene I was in a klasroom at school for a speech contest. It was a variant of a speech contest I did in real life, the guy from my school that was one of my competitors was my competitior in the dream. I had to do 20 speeches (dreamsign) which I don't really remember making. I started my speech with a talk about spiderman (huh?!) and continued about spiders and how their bodilly proportions related to phi (1.618 the golden ratio). Totally useless, however the jury liked spiderman so I scored some points. The dream enden where my opponent started his speech and I still had to do 19 of them... It was totally random...

Real-life background info: I went to the dentist for my toothache that made me miserable. he gave me two options, either take out two teeth right now (Uh, no thank you) or flush my mouth with hydrogenperoxide and take ibuprofen. Took the second option, and guess what, I can have a lucid dream under ibuprofen :boogie:

My first (remembered) dream was at work, which was by the way not my work at all... I work at a theatre as a waiter, but for some reason the theatre suddenly had a hidden patio with an awsome pool. Everything had a Italian/Croatian looking architecture. I was wearing working clothes, which in my dream meant swimming shorts and a white shirt, and was kinda annoyed when someone splashed. Thats the point where I forgot I was supposed to be working and joined the fun. The sun was shining and nice and warm so I didn't enter the water but stayed in the sun to get a tan . One of the present girls was throwing this party and we kinda hooked up (no pervy stuff:cheeky:) after which te scene faded into school, dammit, iI was just having fun... (by the way I really need to be more attentive to suddenly switching location, recognising it as a dream sign could get me lucid every night!). For some reason I'm on a girls hunt tonight (no pervy stuff again I promise :oops:) and another girl, who I don't even know but apparently had a crash on in this dream, came walkjng around the corner, and we romantically walked holding hands... Cute or what?

Now here comes my favorite part! I was suddenly on my way home and was about to cross the street when I looked at a digital clock at the other side of the road which showed different numbers every second! They where numbers around eighty anyways so it made no sense in any case... I checked a list of reality checks I had thought of some days earlier (I am trying to find one that is a little less obvious than the nose pinch, and looking at my hands is not working for me) including things like closing my mouth and trying to breath... None worked dammit, have to keep looking... If anyone has ideas please contact me...

When I woke up today I remembered totally nothing... Nothing at all! which is so strange since I remember at least 2 dreams per night... Maybe it has something to do with the fact that was drugged with 600mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours in an attempt to forget that my tooth was aching like a thorn in an eye...
Today it is very probaple that two of my teeth are going to be removed, so wish me luck. I have to qualify for the worlds this weekend, so I hope I'll be ok on saturday :shock:

One glimpse of my dream just popped into my head. I was in a room with an old classmate of mine.

How's that for a dream? Very interesting don't you think?

Anyway I did get a nice result with the "trick your body to sleep method". I didn't manage to start a dream (I was not in rem just tried it when I went to bed) but I suddenly was able to summon very vivid imagery out of the blue (train station by the way)...

yesterday I was too busy to write my journal, but it was not interesting anyway. Today however, I experienced an approaching apocalypse!

I was in a city somewhere in Russia, how I know it was Russia I have no idea, but nevertheless I was in Russia. The worlds for trampolineing where going on and for some reason a triffis (tripple frontflip with a half twist at the end) would cause a nuclear explosion. Why? I got no clue, maybe the guy ate too many beans...

When the guy did the move the explotion started, everyone started running and I was like, "you can't run from a nuclear explotion you idiots"... So I curled op like a cat like I do in dreams to create a protection for my body (nothing ever happens to me in that position) and watched the explotion approach towards me. It suddenly stopped and I saw a television screen with casting an interview of the guy. He had crashed his routine which was the cause of the stopping explotion. he looked at his trainer and said something along the lines of "yes I crashed, but at least I have someone who is proud of me" and hugged his trainer.

Next is a dream featuring a grey cat with iceblue eyes, nice little bastard. He did have thr annoying habbit of pretending to scratch or bite you...

Now here's an interesting dream... I was at a store buying a present for my mom (bday). I had two types of money, real money and a sort of monopoly cards representing real money (but at the right exchange point they would get me actual money). Now the woman at the store helped me pick a pair of kickass sunglasses my mom wanted for the summer hollidays. When I was about to pay I noticed one of my 50's looked like a 50 (euro's so it was orange) but had the number 20 printed on it (20's are blue...) so I got tricked! (should have caught it as a dreamsign). I forgot about the present and tried to figure how to pay with the 50/20, thats when some annoying guy who I apperantly knew knocked one of the monopoly cards on the floor and refused to help me look for it. I foun it and the dream ended happily ever after.

The last dream sort of has an emotional charge, not really strong for me, but strong in any case. Me and my little brother were fighting in real life it is fun, we laugh our asses off and measure our powers, in dreams it is less friendly. I don't know why it started, but it started nonetheless. Now here comes the emotional part. Dad and my brothers went swimming so it was me and mom at home and she started talking about grandpa, he died in reality and also in dreamality. She said he died angry, angry at himself. I don't remember the meaning of the sentence but my mom was really struck by the idea. In reality my grandga died after multiple heart attacks. He used to be a grumpy and, well not greedy, just a guy who looked after the last single cent. After his second heart attack his memory was altered and his personality changed. He became happier and forgot a lot of his past and even more the present (short term memory, he was not the alzheimer kind of guy, but his memory could be better). I got a lot of imagery when my mom was talking, imagery of my granddad. I don't remember the end of the dream.

I got an LD whoohoo! I was in the park and jumped over the pond (not possible) and tried to convince DC's that this was a dream. One passed out as a result :laughhard: the dream was not very interesting besides that...

Didnt really have much sleep today so I only remember two dreams/fragments.
The first one chronologically started by a group of people, including me, running towards a fuel truck that suddenly started leaking and flooded the floor, we were running becouse it was goint to set fire soon. I couldn't run very fast (dreamsign) and could barely get away when the fire reached us. Suddenly the whole floor was flooded with water... Fish were swimming around my feet and I saw shrimps walking around (totally random).. I woke up and was annoyed tike hell that I didn't remember more dreams....

Second dream was less interestin and more of a flash than a dream... I saw a giant bird cage and for some reason santaclais wanted to climb in. He couldnt because he was to old so his helper offered to go for him. Santa said he shouldn because every attempt costed him a certain part of a bone in his ear... Totally bizar

I had an increadibly annoying dream today. I was in the training hall on a DMT trampoline, for some reason in my dreams I cant do trampolineing and I sucked at doing a backfliptwist (otherwise known as a "full"). For some reason my trainer told me I was doing fina and i had a percentage of 91% which was very high (I have no idea what the percentage meant...), after training two guys put a mat over me, and I kick their asses bigtime...

Tonight I will get more sleep so I think I will remember more...
