I have some words of advice for people with computers like mine... NEVER, EVER, no matter what, trust a log in screen! They're murderers! To your posts that is!
12 May 2009 - May 2009 Basic Lucid Task Attempt #2
The dream starts off in my bed-room at night, where I'm laying down on my bed under the nice warm furry blanket, when I get the "call of nature". I get up and start walking to the toilet.
I get there and feel the cold, damp tiles under my feet. I flick the switch near the door to turn on the light. Nothing happens, no light. I turn it off and flick the switch again and still no change in light. I thought "Maybe this is a dream, because in dreams you cannot change the level of light". Immediately after that thought, the light comes on.
I flush the toilet, turn off the light and walk back to my bedroom. I get under the blankets in my bed and do a reality check. I look at my hands, count the fingers on one of them, and guess what? I have six fingers. IT'S A DREAM!! WOO HOO! Here we go again! Let's finish off this lucid task!!
Somehow I manage to "teleport" myself downstairs into the room where I last attempted the lucid task of May 2009 without even doing anything. The room is bright and sunny (Wait... wasn't it the middle of the night 5 minutes ago?) and I start imagining a flower, with a nice green stem and beautiful pink flowers on the top, with tiny water droplets running down the petals.
I have a very clear image of it in my head, but just can't "pull it out" into the dream where I can move it and give it to someone. I try two more times but still I can't get it out into the dream (Obviously it didn't occur to me that in a dream you can just literally reach for it and pull the sucker out). I then wake up.
