Thread: My dreams and their progression

Sleeping problems and some new sleep medication. I was very tired but couldn't sleep. I went from being awake to being in a dream in a blink. I was in a tunnel, then I'm in horrible fear, overwhelming terror, and I feel my whole body shaking. I recognize that I'm sleeping and 'turn off' the fear, then my body is calm and I am in incredible peace, could change the colors of the tunnel at will. turned fear back on, then off, then on (my body shaking again when I changed to fear) it was fun and then it woke me up. I was fully aware at all times that I was dreaming and had good awareness of my sleeping body.

fast forward. no more medication.

I'm in a jungle village with many people around me, by a river, in a clearing. We get attacked by what I understood as zombies, but they moved normal and could communicate. As the people are getting killed, I see a hut by the shore that is raised by stilts, it's open save for the roof. There sits a short table with a sword. I go there and pick it up. I was looking to kill them off, but one of them takes a woman by the arm and leads her down a dark tunnel off to the side, I follow at unreal speed, moving like thought, and reach him and cut his arm off. He does nothing, I pick up his arm and hand it back to him, telling him to leave and never return. Here everything changes, I go somewhere, or somewhere comes to me, but I am in a total dark room and there's someone behind me. I can see him clearly, he wears samurai armor, with big horns and a mask. this is just a second. the next is a feeling that I can't describe, but I swing at him with all my might, impossibly fast. he draws and blocks with his own sword and the ringing noise wakes me up and lingers around. fear or dread or just a recognition, dunno, he gave a strange feeling that lead me to attack him, but it wasn't fear like usually. hard to remember and hard to describe.
