That's great that they brought your stuff back!

TK is probably the best Dreaming skill there is.(My favorite for sure.) It has so many applications. Using it on yourself is the best way to fly. It's great for fighting, and even just making DC's do what you want. Or for just plain fun throwing stuff around with your mind. I even used it to send my thoughts to that statue goddess that one time in the museum. (Telepathy)

I'm so used to using it in dreams, that I often use it even when not Lucid. Last time I finally actually got Lucid becuase of using it. Most times I'm like, Yay, now I can do it in real life too!

Smile False Awakening on an Aeroplane!

Well today I did the ultimate WBTB only it was more like WAGGOAP (wake and go get on a plane). I went to bed at midnight then got up at 3:30am and went to the airport and got on a plane. There were heaps of spare seats so after take off I went and lay down and fell asleep. I'd been awake for about 3.5 hours.

Next thing I know I'm sitting up holding my cellphone which is going mental. I naturally do a reality test and my watch is also going mental. At first I think it's just a cool new mode. It's making these cute sounds and the display is all animated. Then I realise I'm probably dreaming. But it's sooooo real that I can hardly believe it so I get up and walk down the aisle thinking how amazing it is and decide to confirm by trying to put my arm through a seat. I can't do it and I really start to wonder if I am actually dreaming. Then I woke up I'm so annoyed coz as I went to sleep I thought how cool it would to be lucid on the plane and go up to the cockpit and crash it! Never mind!

      Smile Through the Looking Glass

I'm currently on holiday in Cairns, Australia. Last night I went to bed at 9:30pm. Then at 11:30pm the Asian people staying in the next room which has a connecting door to our room made a devil of a din getting home and I was woken up. They then started cooking and the smell came through to our room. It took me about an hour to get back to sleep but when I did the lucids came thick and fast!

I'm in a dream in which I'm in my hotel room and I go through the connecting door to the Asians' room. In there I see two girls who I work with A & G. I start talking to them and G tells me how they have been out on the town and they went hard core and were pretty wasted. Then A says something (I can't remember what) but it makes me think I should do a reality test. I look at my digital watch and the numbers are going mental and I instantly realise I'm dreaming. I then walk back into my hotel room. My husband Chris is sitting at the dining table. I think about how I just got lucid and commit it to memory. I feel quite excited because I know that it's early in the night and I am nowhere near waking up and I have a lot of dreaming to do yet.

For fun I say to Chris "hey watch this" and I walk over to a huge mirror that extends from the ceiling to the floor and put both my arms through it. But he's not impressed and tells me that he knows I'm dreaming. I then walk right through the mirror! It's the first time I've done this. On the other side the room is identical only reversed (amazing how my brain can do that) and Chris is not there. I feel a bit freaked out so walk back through to where he is.

I then remember my goal which is simply to "let the dream winds blow" in other words to go wherever the dream takes me. I walk out of the door and start walking down a corridor.

Then I have a FA and lose lucidity. I dream I'm recording my LD onto my voice recorder and into my journal. I then start trying to WILD thinking I've safely recorded that dream and hope to have another LD.

Then I'm in a new dream still nonlucid. I'm next door in the Asians' room again only now I'm helping them cook up a banquet for a wedding they have to go to the next day. The CEO of my workplace is there. There's also a blonde hippy girl there telling me how she's on her honeymoon. This dream goes on for a while.

Then I'm in another new dream where I'm in some sort of cafe with Chris and we bump into a guy who we apparently know (we don't in RL). We sit at a table with him and some other guys join us. I'm having to keep moving my seat as more people join our table. Then suddenly I'm outside the cafe and I immediately become lucid. I don't know exactly why I just recognize that I'm dreaming. There is a woman there and as I start to walk off she starts saying in a distressed voice "I can't see, I can't see". I look at her. She is old and very unattractive. I feel a bit bad for her but strictly remind myself that she is 'just a DC and I don't need to worry about helping her.' But something compels me to go to her aid, as if the dream wants me to do this and only this.

I go over to her and ask if she's ok. She says that she's fine now and can see again. Then she turns into this super hot blonde chick and inexplicably (as I'm completely straight in RL and have never got it on with a chick) I decide to get it on with her.

Spoiler for The next bit is X-rated!!!:
On awakening I am annoyed to realise I haven't recorded my first dream at all.

Hope your having a good vacation. I bet Australia is fun. Congrats on the Lucid. I'll read it later. I have to try and get to sleep. I have three and a half hours before I have to be up. But I get to sleep in tomorrow night.

Hey that was awesome going through the mirror! So far I have not once encountered a mirror while Lucid. I'd like to try playing with them though.
There was a Task of the month a while back where you were supposed to look into a mirror, grab your reflection, and pull yourself out of it.

Congrats on the spontaneous Lucidity later. That's the best way to do it, and a great sign of progress.

      Two Failed Reality Tests! Grrr!

      Absolutely spewing here.

The night before last I dreamed I was with a member of my extended family, Jack, watching a movie when another family member, Ruth, suddenly appeared. Ruth hasn’t spoken to Jack in over a decade, and with good reason. Suddenly Ruth apologized to Jack. I looked at Ruth in utter amazement and disbelief. I then stated in a dramatic tone, “Oh my God. I don’t believe it. Um… reality test!” I then performed an over-emphasized reality test by looking at my watch, flicking my wrist over and looking at my watch agin. I did this a few times during which I didn’t actually analyze the time on my watch. I was doing it more to show my utter astonishment to Ruth.

      What a moron

      But it gets worse…

Last night I was in the middle of a dream, again with Ruth. At one point I had a messed up Rubik’s Cube in my right hand. Ruth was going to tell me a quick way to do it. I looked at the messy cube then looked at Ruth. She gave me an instruction and I looked back at the cube only to find it was perfectly complete! I immediately thought, ‘Wow! That’s impossible! I absolutely MUST be dreaming here’. I then performed a reality test using my digital watch. I know I was looking at it but I have no recollection of what I saw or of the dream continuing. I think either I went into a new dream or I slowly woke up.
I think these two events are just a bit of bad luck due to my dreaming brain not being entirely compos mentos but nevertheless will step up my reality testing vigilance as of today I think!

      Thumbs up The Bird

I’m on holiday still in Port Douglas, North Queensland, Australia. I woke up at 4am and did a quick wbtb. It took me about an hour to get back to sleep all the while I was doing my usual half-hearted WILDing attempt.

Eventually I ended up in a nonlucid dream where I had woken up in our hotel room. I remember complaining to my husband, Chris that I hadn’t got lucid. I began running our spa bath. I left the bath running while I did some other stuff. I then sensed that about twenty minutes has passed so I returned to the bath and discovered I hadn’t put the plug in. I was annoyed that I’d just wasted twenty minutes of hot water. (I should have done a reality test here but didn’t.)

I walk through to the next room where I find my husband Chris kneeling down and looking into a cupboard. He tells me there’s a dead bird in there. I say “Oh you should be wearing gloves, hun”. I then notice he has yellow rubber gloves on. Suddenly a bird hops out of the cupboard into the room. I say “Oh dear it’s still alive. It must be injured.” Chris then says something about it having splints on it’s legs and indeed I can see it has some stick-type things attached to its legs. I say “what did you say?” He answers me but I can’t understand his answer. I ask “what?” again and again I can’t understand wtf he is on about. This carries on for about ten or fifteen seconds.

I then say emphatically, “sorry but I’m not accepting this” meaning that I think I need to do a reality test due to my inability to understand his nonsensical speech. I then look at my wrist but my watch is not there. This arouses my suspicion and I decide that even though I don’t really think I’m dreaming I’m going to find my watch. I walk through to the next room where I have a feeling I’d taken my watch off. I see it on the floor. I pick it up and the strap is slightly broken. This makes me even more suspicious. I look at the numbers expecting them to be normal and for me to look like an idiot but the numbers are going crazy. Even though it is really hard to believe, I accept that I’m dreaming.

My husband is looking at me with a mock ‘I’m going to get you for being smart about not understanding me before’ expression. I go to turn and walk away but I can’t resist outsmarting him. I say “Oh am I in trouble eh? You think you’re gonna get me right? Well watch this!” I then float up into the air and drift past him with a smug expression on my face. He tries to act as though he’s going to get me still but I can see he’s hiding a smile. I float outside and hover above the ground which is quite far below me as our hotel room is on the second floor. I shout to him to come join me but he can’t fly. I try to levitate him using TK but have no success. I then fly back inside and towards the other side of our hotel room where I fly straight through a window and outside. It’s so much fun as I push through the glass. Then I wake up.

Apparently you have had a lot of cool dreams! Maybe I should start following your journal. (Sorry about that, yuriy. I couldn't help but notice! )
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

      My Lucid Dreaming Song

You're more than welcome to, Dream Scientist

I certainly make an effort to tell my dream stories in an interesting and readable manner.

For all my journal followers, here is a silly song I wrote about lucid dreaming. Should give you a good laugh. Actually since I wrote it I can't stop singing it! It's quite exhilarating!

(Ignore the lyrics on the video and just read my new lucid dreaming lyrics below)

      First there is nothing
      But a slow boring dream
And your thoughts seem to hide
      Deep inside your mind

You're all alone in the night
So you turn on a light
An eery glow lets you know
      It’s a dream…

When I WILD I hear music
Close my eyes, see the visions
Float around, take control of your dream...

      What a feeling!
      I’m lucid dreaming!
I can have it all now I’m free inside my mind
Take your passion, and make it happen
Pictures come alive when you’re lucid every night

When I WILD I hear music
Close my eyes, see the visions
Float around, take control of your dream...

      What a feeling!
      (I am lucid now)
      I'm lucid dreaming!
      (It's so vivid now) etc

God knows I tried yuri! I played the music in the background and recorded me singing it with my video cam but I sounded terrible! I tried three times to sing it and make it sound decent but in the end had to give up lol! Still doesn't stop me singing it around the house at the top of my lungs

But yeah I am tempted to get it recorded with someone who can actually sing

Nice song I like it. I really liked the first part of the music, before it picked up. That was nice.

Thumbs up Strange and Amazing SP/Lucid Experience

I can't remember what time I went to bed but it was quite early, maybe around 9.30 or 10pm. I woke up at 5:20am rather annoyed that I'd not only had no lucid dreams but in fact had had really tedious nonlucid dreams. I got up to do a WBTB. I went on my pc for about twenty mins then went back to bed and lay awake for an hour thinking 'I wonder why I don't get much SP anymore'. (I haven't had SP for a good eight months.) The last thing I remember thinking is 'I'm not going to get to sleep so I might as well get up now'

Next thing I know I'm suddenly standing in a bathroom-like room with blue walls. It was odd because it was the very start of a dream after a period of complete unconsciousness. After a few seconds I noticed that the room seemed kind of strange and thought 'I think I might be dreaming'. As soon as I had that thought there was suddenly this completely amazing shift in my consciousness and the way I was perceiving my surroundings. It's hard to explain in words but it was like a complete shift in reality. It was awesome! I put my arms out in front of me and thought 'wow!' I just knew I was dreaming. I didn't even think about doing a reality test. It just wasn't necessary at all. The room felt so strange and eery - very classically dreamlike.

Then I went blind. I was worried about waking up so I concentrated really hard on trying to see. It took ages but then suddenly I was sucked/launched/warped into a new place. It was another strange looking room only this time the walls were yellow. I then saw teddy bears and the face of an African-American man on the wall. At the same time I became aware of my actual body in my bed and that it was moving slightly. It was kind of jerking just a little bit and I felt like I was waking up.

Then I had a FA. I was walking through my house and intending to turn on my pc to get on msn to spaceexplorer but in the place of my pc was my television set. There was dust all over the floor and I thought how I must vacuum it up. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV and this made me realise I was still dreaming.

Then I woke up. The SP was absolutely amazing and cool and unlike any I've experienced before.

Whoa! That was pretty intense. It sounded like you were catapulted into a lucid dream.

Congratulations. Cool watch, by the way. I wish I had one...

Anywho, It seems your brain really knows what you want.

      Never doubt it again.
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

      No problem.
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

      Talking Jeepers creepers, I'm useless!

Right, it's 3am and I've just woken up from a dream about being in a small seaside town hit by a tsunami. I saw this huge wave and was running from it along a dirt road. There were other villagers running too. We took refuge in an old church with a stained glass window. A lady was taking pictures of the window with her i-phone. I suddenly wondered if I'd done a reality test when I'd seen the tsunami. I just couldn't remember. I hoped I did. Then I thought 'oh well, better late than never' and did one but it failed...

Is there any hope for me?

      Cool The House

I’ve been on a short break from LDing due to being busy with my photography hobby but I decided to get back into it yesterday and last night I had a fabulous LD which was my longest yet of about twenty minutes. I went to bed at about 10pm and drifted off to sleep a short time later but then woke up at about 11pm and lay awake for about half an hour. I went back to sleep and got lucid at around midnight.

I was driving my car along a highway. It was twilight and I found myself thinking that the road looked rather beautiful and surreal and I had never seen such a place before. The way the lights were twinkling was quite spectacular and I could see what looked like a UFO on the horizon. I started thinking it looked like something out of a dream and then slowly I started wondering ‘perhaps it really is’. For some reason I didn’t look straight at my watch which is my standard RT. Instead since I was about to round a corner I thought to myself ‘let me see what’s around this corner and if it is logical’. I then rounded the corner and my car came to a complete stop in front of a shop window. I immediately thought this was ridiculous and then my whole car vanished. It kind of swished away like bad CGI and I knew I had to be dreaming.

So I was now on foot. I looked across the street I was on and saw an overgrown garden with a large house in it. I didn’t really have any major pressing lucid goals so decided I’d just explore the dreamworld. I went over to the house and then I was inside it. I wandered through the house a bit and I came to a room with large wooden ladders in it leading up to a hole in the very high ceiling. I really wanted to know what was up there in the attic so started climbing the ladders. I was mucking around a bit and decided I should get a move on before I woke up. I didn’t want to fly up because I find when I start to fly in dreams that tends to be all I do and I preferred the challenge of climbing a ladder that was really scary and high but knowing I wouldn’t get hurt if I fell.

I went up the first couple of ladders quite easily but the last one was really high and the dream was so unbelievably real and vivid. I was climbing and it felt just like it would in waking life which was quite difficult. I was way up high, hanging off this ladder feeling my full body weight. I kind of wish I had just let go of the ladder and floated up but I was loving how real my dream body felt and knew if I flew it wouldn’t feel as real anymore. I decided to abandon this mission and go do something else so I jumped off the ladder and landed on the floor with a thud. I stood there thinking how cool it was to be in a lucid dream and how I could tell I wasn’t going to wake up for a while. I was right.

I then began walking around the house. As I did I decided to look at my watch just to see the numbers go mental. My watch was clear plastic instead of black and silver and indeed the numbers were going completely ballistic! Scrolling and rolling like crazy. I stared for a few seconds fascinated. The house now had other people in it. I came across my mum and a few random children playing in a room. Mum asked me “Did you just use the toilet coz it stinks in there?” to which I replied emphatically “no I definitely did not just use the toilet” chuckling to myself that this DC couldn’t fool me. I knew full well what I’d been up to because I was loooooocid!

Next I was walking down a hallway and one of the charge nurses from my RL work was behind me making smart comments. I turned around and said to her in a raised voice “Get out of my dream!” She looked a tiny bit startled but replied “It’s your dream, you get rid of me”. I then realized that I was probably being a bit mean so I apologized to her and said I was really just practicing for when I encountered a really horrible DC like an evil, nightmarish DC like a serpent or a monster.

Anyway, the dream continued for ages with me exploring this house. I kept suddenly having a mouthful of awful tasting food during it which I would spit out.

      Lucid time = 20 minutes

      Wink Lucid again...

Well I just did a WBTB and got lucid again! I lay there trying to WILD and ended up in a nonlucid dream. I'm in a pub with my best friend N who is telling me how she bumped into a mutual friend of ours at the gym. She tells me a bit about their conversation when suddenly I realise I still have my dental protector in my mouth. I'm a bit embarrassed about this and reach up to take it out but then I remember that the last time this happened I was dreaming and so figure I'm probably dreaming again.

But before I can do a reality test I find myself lying in my bed with my body moving on its own and SP vibrations starting. Then I had a hypnagogic image of standing outside my house on a sunny day and watching a weird black creature floating up into the sky. I immediately WILDed into the scene! I put my arms out in front of me like Superman lol and floated into the air after it. It was amazing. I flew around above my suburb for a while singing John Denver's 'You fill up my senses'.

      God I love this hobby
