Reality Check when: alarm on cumputer that says the time every 15:min (only while compy is active). every time I crack my knuckles or flex my hands.
Night rituals: reaffirm intentions each night. in writing. speak mantra , "May I awaken within this dream and grasp the fact that I am dreaming, so all dreamlike beings may likewise awaken."
Morning Rituals: keeping my eyes closed. letting the edge of the dream stay with me. work back through my dreams and record them.
intentional lucid dreams: Zero

Awesome. Those rituals sound ...well tedious, but if you think they'll help you then go for it certainly. I do wish you luck. Know though that if it doesn't work quickly, don't get frustrated. It usually takes a long time to get Lucid dreams...frustration is a killer, so don't fall for that. Relax, and try to enjoy whatever your mind brings you. I hope to see some dreams here soon..I'm sure it will go quite well for you with relaxed perseverance.

slept in late and woke up with a start because I was late for work. dream memory is fragmented.
Dream:
I was driving in a car with some friends, I was in the front seat. they were close friends but I cant remember who now. we were well... smoking. A cop pulls us over and makes us hold this thing that looks like a huge tea bag in our mouths. We hold it in for a good long time. When the cop takes the bags out of our mouths they have turned greenish purple. He says that if they were more purple he could bust us. but he lets us go.
