Come Read Some Dreams

The dream begins at my school on my first day back from spring break. I was out in the hallways during class with a few random friends and acquaintances of mine from my school. Someone spotted a single patch of two extremely red and ripe strawberries sprouting from one of the many gardens surrounding the various buildings scattered across my school&#39;s unfamiliar campus. Without any second thoughts or hesitation, a select few of my companions ran up and started stomping them to jam. The rest of the group, including myself, urged them to stop.

The school day had ended and I began to walk out to the lot behind my school where my ride was parked. Like most other days, I saw the girl sitting in the back of her brother&#39;s pickup truck waiting for him to drive her home. Unlike most days, she had about ten or more friends with her. As I approached her, her friends disappeared and we traded glances. I smiled.

She gave me an awkward sun exposed smile as she pulled out a clear plastic box with some lunch meat in it and held it up for me to see. She caught me somewhat off guard when she suggested we skate it together. I set the box up and stepped to the side, waiting for her to find to perfect spot to drop her skateboard and go.

Somewhere, one of us found a large, framed painting in a pile of trash next to one of the buildings. Together we skated the picture for a good five or ten minutes. Upon awakening, I was extremely disappointed to find out it was merely a dream.

Stomping strawberries and jumping lunch boxes? Stop playing with your food&#33;

I don&#39;t like trying to find too much meaning in stranger&#39;s dreams, but stomping perfectly good strawberries can&#39;t be a good sign. Who doesnt like strawberries?

Haha&#33; I didn&#39;t think the stomping thing had any positive meaning to it either. I have my own interpretation of the dream.

First things first. Here is a little bit of a background:

Dakota is a girl that I&#39;ve had a bit of a crush on for about a month or so and we just started talking recently. She has been dropping a few hints as have I and I&#39;m hoping that once I work up the courage, I&#39;ll ask her out.

Now the actual interpretation:

School is a normal dream setting for me, so I didn&#39;t look for any deeper meaning to it. Now as for there being TWO very red and ripe strawberries. I looked at that pretty optimistically like it was a sign that it would work out.

For a while at least.. thats what brings me to my friends stomping at the strawberries. Could it be that they didn&#39;t want it to happen? maybe it would lessen our friendship a little bit and they don&#39;t want that to happen? I&#39;m not exactly sure, but I can&#39;t think of any positive way to look at it.

As for the rest of the dream, I just thought of it as another way of showing that we&#39;d be compatible. She doesn&#39;t actually skateboard, but I do. It is my life for the most part. The fact that she was skateboarding in the dream made me think that, possibly, she&#39;d become part of my life as well.

All in all, I&#39;m not sure whether or not to tag this dream as a sign of good fortune or bad fortune.

<div align="center">HIV</div><div align="center">04 . 09 . 2007</div>
I woke up multiple times and I&#39;m not one hundred percent sure which thoughts were thought while dreaming or while awake.

I was talking with her on AIM when she informed me that she had somehow contracted HIV. Speechless, I neither physically nor mentally say a word. I wake up confused, unsure if I&#39;m currently still dreaming or not. Instinctively, I close my eyes and go back to sleep.

When I re-enter the dream, I&#39;m back on the computer talking to her. A random thought came to my mind about her having somehow contracting HIV. To clear my thoughts, I asked her if what I was thinking was true.

I&#39;m sorry. Please don&#39;t worry.

Not all of my friends were present; only a random selection.

I rarely ever wear shorts on any occasion, much less khaki shorts.

I can&#39;t remember a time where I&#39;ve rode to school with my mom. I get a ride with a friend.

Ahh&#33; It&#39;s not funny. That one freaked me out so much at the time because of how the dream/awakenings went. I woke up a few times and was completely confused at whether I was asleep or awake at more than one point. I really should have done a reality check.

My parent&#39;s bedroom was conveniently located right next to the refrigerator, off of the kitchen.

I don&#39;t recall any dreams from last night, but I did have a really odd hypnagogic jerk. I was walking through my school halls and noticed a trash can in front of me. Suddenly and without warning, I fell through the floor as if there were a hole in it, but it was covered by a hologram that looked exactly like the floor.

Last night, for the first time in almost two or three months, I had a nice, lengthy, and vivid lucid dream. I woke up about three times during my entire sleep period. My first dream was an average dream with no notable aspects. I woke up and didn&#39;t even feel the want or need to write it down because it just wasn&#39;t worth it and I was very tired.

After going back to sleep, I woke up again. This time, I didn&#39;t really wake up, it was a false awakening. Like I do every time I wake up, I do a reality check before I sit up. I was fairly certain that I wasn&#39;t dreaming, but when I did the reality check it suggested otherwise. Extremely confused and skeptical, I did a second reality check. A third. A fourth. A fifth. After around ten reality checks, I accepted the fact that I was lucid and out of my excitement woke up.

Disappointed, I drifted back to sleep. The same situation. I was waking up and, like usual, did a reality check before I sat up. <span style="color:#000080">It tested positive for dreaming and before I did anything out of the ordinary or dangerous, I wanted to make sure I was dreaming; so I did multiple reality checks until I was satisfied. Once I finally convinced myself, I sat up and began to anchor myself into the dream. I focused intently on my hands, trying to increase the vividness of the dream, and to an extent it worked, although I forgot to focus on my other five senses.

After ten or twenty seconds I had reached an acceptable vividness for myself and began my adventure. I got up from my bed and informed my brothers, cousins, and parents that we were all dreaming. Then, I bragged that there was a good chance they wouldn&#39;t remember any of their lucid dreams. I had wasted enough time talking to my unusually boring dream family and felt the want to fly. I walked over to the edge of my stairwell and took a leap over it. I fell straight to the floor and began to laugh.

My house seemed like a bit of boring place to waste a lucid dream, so I walked outside, accompanied by my younger brother. The culdesac I live on remained unchanged, but the grass surrounding it was almost ten times the height it normally was and much brighter and contained various shades of green and yellow.

The main thing I wanted to accomplish in this dream was finding my dream guide. Just as this thought crossed my mind, I noticed my next door neighbors drive by in their car and decided to talk to them and ask if they had any idea where I could mind my dream guide. They babbled on about something really weird that happened. I quickly lost interest in what they had to say and wanted an answer as to where I could find my dream guide. Someone had to know&#33;

I walked behind their house and saw two of my very attractive neighbors in the pool. The thought of lucid sex crossed my mind, but I rarely ever get to the actual sex part before something happens to interrupt it (usually I&#39;ll wake up), so I decided to save the sex until I had accomplished my goal.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw an average sized car driving down the side of the house along the trees and thought that I should take advantage of this opportunity to talk to a random dream character. My dreams are usually very scarce on dream characters. Once they got close enough, I walked up to the open window and asked the driver if she knew where I could find my dream guide. The young girl mumbled some words that I couldn&#39;t understand. Her father made her stop the car and told me that he could help me in my search.

The dream skipped and we were now at my old elementary and middle school. His daughter was with us, only now she looked about five or six years younger than she had originally been when I saw her driving the car (it was the same girl because she was wearing the same clothes). We passed a door, where the father dropped her off and told her to wait for him to return. He took me to a room with a device that looked a lot like a urinal/toilet and told me to step until the whole; he would then turn it off and take me to my dream guide.

I really wanted to meet with my dream guide, so stepped in without any hesitation. My mom came out of no where and warned me of the dangers that accompanied such a device. I shrugged it off and gave the signal that I was all set to go. The man turned the machine off and I was back in my room.

A little irritated at the fact that I was alone, I thought of something to do. I tried to phase through the wall of my second story room and reanimate outside on the roof of my garage. I could barely get my entire head into the fall, and after about only ten or twenty seconds, gave up entirely. Still frustrated, I walked downstairs and faced the front door. I remembered the two lucid tasks: find the Easter bunny and/or merge with a tree. Knowing my current level of dream control, I assumed that the latter would only lead to more aggravation.

I imagined the Easter bunny would be hopping around outside hiding eggs when I walked out into the culdesac. I opened the door and proceeded outside. To my excitement, there were Easter next to all of my neighbor&#39;s and my mailbox, although they weren&#39;t like regular Easter baskets. Instead of eggs and candy, they were filled with random objects and helium balloons. I scanned my surroundings for any signs of the Easter bunny and noticed motion to my left.

I was surprised to see a creature that resembled a balloon animal scampering around the grass. When I began to chase it; it hopped really high thinking that it could get away from me. I jumped up and grabbed it. I examined the creature. I thought it looked really cool and I wanted to remember what it looked like when I woke up so I could draw it, so I examined it closely for about five minutes. Unfortunately, I don&#39;t remember well enough to draw it accurately : (

I freed the little critter and decided I had spent enough time searching for my dream guide. I wasn&#39;t getting anywhere and I could try again another time. For all I know, this little creature could be my dream guide, but he wasn&#39;t saying anything that suggested so.

I saw my neighbor in her drive way and decided the time had come for lucid sex. I walked over and told her to bend over. Without any argument, so obeyed and I pulled her pants down.

Are you sterile? she asked.

I replied Nope&#33;

Oh Well&#33; Don&#39;t worry about using a rubber.

I woke up, just as I expected would happen.

Dream ONE Midnight Snack
I sneaked downstairs for a midnight snack on a school night, opened the fridge and gathered anything that looked appealing. As I began to shut to door, I thought about how much trouble I would be in if my mom woke up and caught me. At that moment, I saw the light from their bedroom* flicker on.

I immediately shut the door, flicked the kitchen light off, and took off for the hallway and stairs. I was a tad bit, late because as I was rounding the corner of the kitchen wall, my mom called out to me. I stopped and turned to face her. I was completely terrified at the sight of her face because it was the angriest and reddest I had even seen it. It drove me to the verge of tears.

Dream TWO r4dsh4nnon
I needed to contact someone about homework for school, but no one was online to help me; with the exception of one girl who I had never talked to in real life or even the internet. I felt an odd, unexpected, and unexplained attraction to her. In my desperation I sent her a message.

She reply saying that she was glad that she was the only person on at the time and glad that I had finally contacted her. I felt the same way.

Thats a good question. I don&#39;t know why I had a dream about this other girl, while I still have strong feelings for Dakota. Possibly it could be because when I was browsing her myspace, she had a list of things that would be her perfect guy and I fit the description almost one hundred percent.

The thought just crossed my mind, and I&#39;ve heard that when thoughts enter and exit your mind very quickly, they often reshow themselves in you dreams.

I did not. How could I have gone lucid though when I was shaken awake? I&#39;ve have these quite often so if you have a technique to gain lucidity from them, let me know.

<div align="center">Lost Inside My Mind</div></span><div align="center">04 . 23 . 2007</div>
Last night I got a taste of what the phrase lost inside my own mind actually means. There was a point last night where I was convinced I was waking up from multiple lucid dreams and reentering into them.

I went to bed using the MILD (Mind Induced Lucid Dream) technique. Basically, you repeat a specific and constant phrase in you head as your drifting off to sleep in hopes of it carrying over into your dream and inducing a lucid dream. Because I don&#39;t usually remember my dreams when woken up on weekdays. Damn that alarm clock of mine&#33;

I told myself I will remember my dreams when I wake up and occasionally I will question reality.

I woke up at almost exactly 2:30 AM from a normal dream that I, again, felt no need nor want to write down. I fell back asleep almost immediately.

<span style="color:#000080">I don&#39;t remember exactly where or when the dream started or when exactly I became lucid, but the earliest point I can remember up to is being in a field that resembled a baseball field. Baseball players were scattered evenly across the field and I was sure I was dreaming. It was dark outside with a purple hue to it, but the city was illuminated well enough to see as if it were day.

I immediately remembered the creature I had encountered in my previous lucid dreaming and my desire to make it my dream pet. I willed it to appear, and it jumped out of the ground and into the air where it hovered for some time. Noticing the amount of dream control I had, I thought it would be a good opportunity to attempt the advanced lucid task: merge yourself with a tree. After a good five minutes of attempted to phase my legs into the trunk of the tree, I lost interest.

I wanted to find my dream guide, and for some reason this dream seemed much more promising for such a goal. I strolled through a crowded street with restaurants and bars scattered to the left and right of me.

I shouted at the top of my lungs Where is my dream guide?

The crowded looked completely puzzled with the exception of one man. He motioned me to come towards him and pointed to my right. I turned to see him finger pointed to a fat, elderly woman with a hat. Nervously, I walked towards her with secret hopes that she wasn&#39;t my dream guide. I always imagined my dream guide to be much cooler than a fat old lady.

I asked the question and was disappointed to hear her answer.

I am you dream guide.

See started off to a large empty room with a television in the center and motioned for me to have a seat on the chair placed across from it. I complied, eager to see what she had in store for me. Could it be training? A lesson? Though, something about this woman didn&#39;t seem right. She grew increasingly evil looking by the minute.

Just as this thought crossed through my mind, she began to cackle. As if I were about to be inevitably defeated, she revealed her sinister plan to me. She had convinced me that she was my dream guide and used me. I&#39;m not sure what for, but it had no affect on me from what I noticed.

This is where the dream began to get confusing. I cannot explain what happened accurately because I only remember bits and pieces of the remainder of the dream. At one point I remember reading a Myspace bulletin from a random classmate that she had had the most amazing lucid dream of her life. I felt compelled to, but for some unknown reason didn&#39;t or was unable to.

I remember having about four false awakenings where I had woken up from lucid dreams. I thought that I had mastered the skill. My actual state at this time is virtually indescribable because my mind was so confused and my thoughts were so lost.

<div align="center">Clueless</div><div align="center">04 . 25 . 2007</div>
I&#39;m a little clouded on where exactly this dream began, but I remember being at a party with a bunch of random kids I know from around my school and town. The house was three or four stories high at at one point I was at the very top just chilling out and enjoying the scenery. I was watching a few kids I knew on the floor below me, and one threw his hat and go it stuck on a roof that was way out of anyones reach.

I wanted to get back to the party so I began to climb down to where everyone was. It went through a jungle gym like obstacle course to get where I wanted to go and eventually ended up on the very bottom floor. There was only one other kid down there.

I remember a bunch of random kids from my school getting dropped off at my house for some kind of program. They weren&#39;t allowed to drive anywhere, so we were all stuck in my house for the night without any exceptions. Most I never saw again in the dream.

Brandon and I were on the computer clicking around on stuff when he pulled out a little plastic pouch of fire weed. He asked me if I could hold it for a while and without question or hesitation, I took it from him and laid it on my lap. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my mom coming up the stairs. She seemed to be looking for something. Almost instinctively, I placed the pouch between a few books in the book shelf on the desk above the computer.

I hoped that she would continue walking right past us so I could have more time to find a better hiding spot, but instead she began to shuffle through the books in the book shelf. She stumbled upon the pouch and was completely clueless as to what it was. She turned to me with a puzzled look and thanked for buy her some decorative moss that she could use around the house. She reached into the pouch and pulled out a pinch. She placed it on a lamp and stared at her creation in contentedness.

Hmm. I sometimes use computers in my dreams (and sometimes lucid) but can never really concentrate on the screen... Whenever I use the computer in a lucid I ALWAYS end up waking up AT MOST two minutes after starting using it.
