I've been gone for the past twelve days or so and during that time it was very hard for me to record my dreams. Since I've been constantly in the company of my friends, I feel like it would have been rude of me to make them wait an hour for me each day to record my dreams. However, here's what I've managed to record over the past week...

Jackie Chan and the Mandarin Shop
I had to get up early in the morning to go to work so I wasn't able to completely record this dream, so I just jotted down a bit of what happened.
I was hired to work in this small convenience store by Jackie Chan. (Haha) It wasn't much of a convenience store though, since the only thing we were really selling were mandarins. During the dream, Jackie Chan had demanded that I see this nature movie and played it on this TV suspended from the ceiling. The movie was entirely about ants and continually showed different ant colonies fighting eachother. After the movie ended, I was trying to tell him how ridiculously stupid it was but he laughed and wouldn't listen to me.

Serial Murderer
For the entire dream, I was stuck in the body of a serial killer. I was constantly moving around from place to place killing people who upset me. A chubby, Italian detective was tracking me down and eventually found out who I was, but didn't want to bring me to justice because he felt sorry for me. At one point in the dream, I walked into this house where these creepy ladies were sitting around a giant table. I was holding my mom's pink knit sweater and had gotten into a long, drawn out discussion with them about something. Eventually, I began crying because the the sweater had belonged to my mother. (She was dead in the dream.) In the dream, whenever someone made me feel emotionally unstable, I would kill them in strange ways like throwing them off a tall buildings and such.

Yoshitaka Amano World
Frangment 1
I was having a piano concert in a large concert hall. I didn't really know what I was doing or what I was supposed to play. In fact, I didn' t even know how to play the piano. I was surprisingly calm and relaxed given the situation, and began to improvise with the person playing next to me. I ended up playing this neat jazzy song with my partner and had a great time playing it. In the end though, the audience didn't like it because it wasn't classical music.
Fragment 2
The whole dream took place in a kinda Yoshitaka Amano-esque world. (Japanese artist). Everything around me was alluring and very beautiful. I was a woman who lived in the slums with my Dad in his real house. The atmosphere surrounding the house was always dark and gloomy. Soon after the dream began, I learned that I was betrothed to the king of our country. The king was a quiet man with long, fine, black hair and wore a long cape and japanese battle helmet. The scene changed and I was standing with him in his palace and he was talking to me about something really important and profound. He continued talking and a picture of a map came into my mind. We were on the map represented by little red human shaped dots. The map was of Africa, Europe and Asia. The picture shifted and focused on Asia, and the King began telling me that the people of our nation were decendents of the Mongolians. As he said this, the picture became a map of Mongolia. After he told me all this, I returned home. My dad was never there most of the time, especially at night. In the dream, he was ashamed of me and would continuously go to bars to drink away his deppression. The dream progressed a little, and the king became very angry with me because I had done something wrong. It was nighttime, and he had sent out his guards to look for me and bring me back to the palace. When at the palace, I would be beaten as a punishment. The guards soon found me and began to pursue me. For some reason, I treated this all like a game and and didn't really take any of them seriously. I began playing around with them and jumping over houses and buildings. They soon discovered they could jump high also, and began to chase me all over the city. In order to fully escape them, I ended up disguising myself as a guard and marched into the lookout post which was, coincidentally, right next to my house. I walked in on a long discussion the guards and the king were having about me and stood in on it nonchalantly. Sometimes I would offer a little to the conversation, but most of the time I would just stand there looking smug because they hadn't yet figured out it was me. After a while, I reported to the main guard and told him my shift was over and he gave me permission to leave. Before I left though, I told him who I really was and ran away feeling very giddy. I quickly sprinted into my house hoping they wouldn't guess I was there and turned off all the lights and locked all the doors. My dad wasn't home and it seemed that he had messed the whole house up in a fit of anger. I spent the rest of the night in the house hiding. In the morning, a chauffeur came to pick me up for school along with many other kids. I got in and after a couple minutes I realized something and asked: "You're taking me to the king instead, aren't you..." "yup." He replied. At that moment, I realized the game had ended, and that there was no use in putting up a fight anymore.

These were the best examples of Yoshitaka Amano's art I could find that seemed to apply somewhat to my dream architecturally and color/mood wise...

Most Recent Fragments
Fragment 1
Something to do with raising a tamagotchi or something... I can't remember.
Fragment 2
I was going back in time to stop my friends from commiting suicide. One of my friends, Laura, had attempted suicide once in my dream and had succeeded the second time. the first attempt had something to do with ice. I don't remember if I saved her in the end or not, but I remember a lot of sadness and crying pertaining to that. The second person I tried to rescue was trying to hang himself from a gnarled tree with a ragged animal carcass. I was grabbing at his legs, continuously yelling at him to stop and going on about how it was so cruel to use an animal to hang yourself with... weird.
Fragment 3
I was exploring a strange, cold world as Haruhi Suzumiya. My presence on Earth was upsetting the balance of nature and crazy shit would happen wherever I went. At some point in the dream, I approached some people standing around on the roof of a large building and unintentionally made them throw up this strange green goop.
Fragment 4
My brothers were over at my house. We were all sitting on the living room sofa playing this gameboy game togeather. Somehow, the game was supposed to be teaching me how to play D & D or something. We were all wearing these nintendo sleeping bag coats that all matched, but the coats were all different colors. I rememeber one of us wearing a yellow one. The game was a lot like the old mario game. In the game, we were all mario-like characters who ran around on the screen trying to kill eachother. Somehow, I was able to create these large, brick pits that I could hide in. James announced this was creepy as Edward nodded thoughtfully in agreement.
