LD is nothing new to me however, I've only recently reached a "hightened" level of lucidity.

During a very emmotionally taxing past year I began to have lucid dreams more frequently than in the past.

In one of my first in this series of etremely vivid lucid dreams I confronted a person that had been 'causing me a great deal of ainxiety.
I started to act out towards the person but, became overly emmotional and decided that my energy would be better spent elsewhere.

I left the room I was in, headed towards a nearby balcony and jumped.
The water below (a lake) was very dark, it almost looked black. The sky was an ashen not quite white, the landscape seem to perfectly mirror my sentiments.

From the balcony I just flew as high as I could. Before I knew it I could see a series of locations below me, similar to the veiw from an airplane. In this particular instance I saw a string of small islands...so I decided to land.

The island was beautiful it was bright and sunny, it was full of people. A great sense of relief came over me. I decided to take a job as a waitress at this small resturaunt on the island, I worked with three great girls, it was very relaxing. In the end I woke up in an amazing mood and well rested.

From that time onward I've been able to gain nearly total control of any lucid dream including the people, environment/scenery, plot, etc.

My dream routine is as follows:
1. I realize I'm lucid
2. Don't like where I am, fly to alternate location
3. Settle, and begin my "real" or desired dream.[/i]
