Thread: Falling in love with an anime character? Please interpret.

I'm new to forums, so I hope I'm doing this right. Anyway, I had this dream a while back. Its a little embarrassing, but I have yet to figure out what it means. In my dream, I was on a church camping trip with my best friend Ryan (only saw him in the very first part of the dream when everyone was setting up camp) and the other people that go to his church. Konata and Tsucasa from Lucky Star were also there. The campsite was on the shoreline of a body of water and it was a little bit jungle, a little bit forest, and a little bit desert. There were lots of crocodiles in the water and a really small island nearby that was just a short wade through the stream that ran between the shore and the island. There were lots of snakes in that island. Anyway, people were wrestling these crocodiles and snakes. Konata wasn't though. She was just sitting on the beach playing her PSP. I don't remember if I was trying to impress her or trying to get her to join me, but I was wrestling a crocodile for one or possibly both of those reasons. Eventually the croc I was wrestling got away, so I went onto the island to look for a snake to wrestle. When I couldn't find any snakes to wrestle, I went back onto the mainland walked along the beach. As I walked along, I saw a round purple thing sticking out of the sand in the distance. When I got closer, I saw that it was Tsucasa buried in the sand with her head sticking out, and I saw that she had been crying. She told me that some guys buried her in the sand and left her and forgot to come dig her out, so I dug her out. She thanked me as she rubbed sand out of her eyes and I walked her to the changing room so that she could shower the sand off. As she started the water, I went outside and walked back along the beach to the place that she was buried because I lost my cellphone and I thought that it might be over there. I eventually found my phone but it was by the tent of a girl who I know in real life, but I'm not too fond of even though she likes me a lot. So I decided to forget the phone and I went back to the changing room. When I got back, Tsucasa was done showering and was walking out of the changing room. We walked along the beach together and talked about various things (I don't remember what was said, I just remember that we talked). We then found a good place on the beach to sit and watch the sunset. As we watched the sunset, we talked some more and it got romantic. Then Tsucasa leaned into me and I put my arm around her and as the sun went down, I felt a strong affection for her. My dream ends there when my alarm clock wakes me up. I've never fallen in love with an anime character in waking life or in a dream until this one and I really don't know what to think of it. Don't get me wrong though, it wasn't sexually charged or anything, I just felt strong emotions for Tsucasa. Kinda hard to explain. Can anyone tell me what this dream means? I'm clueless!

As for me, I'm 19 years old, and I do like to watch anime, and Lucky Star happens to be one of my favorites. The girl I mentioned in my dream description really likes me and has my cellphone number (how she got it, I'm really not sure) but I don't really like her that much. I'm one of those guys who value personality over looks in a woman. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I did go on a church camping trip with Ryan once. um, yeah, so I really don't know what else to say about myself that would pertain to this dream, so if you have questions, just ask.
