      My lovely owl....

It was night but I could see very clearly. I was walking through brush with many small trees and brambles. It was very thick and the only path was a small deer trail. I love it. It's beautiful and I have this wonderful feeling of exploration. I continue down the path and come to a place where there is a split off to the left. I turn and follow this new path. I come to a pond which is surrounded by the same brambles and brush right up to the edge except for two shores, the shore I'm standing on and one directly across from me. There is a plain wooden pole about seven feet away from the water that stands about nine feet tall and the same thing is on the other shore. I walk to the water, pitch black except for a few ripples I see. I come closer to investigate and see a giant owl bathing itself in the shallows. I back up a bit to watch from a safe distance and I can see another bathing near the other shore. I watch the owl closest to me as he finishes and begins to walk up out of the water. He reaches the shore and is at least seven feet tall. I'm a bit frightened now that I truely see how large he is but I'm mezmerized by his beauty and can't bring myself to abandon such a unique experience. So I pull away to stand over near the pole. He seems to be leaving but then stops beside me and turns to look at me. I walk out a little ways so we can see each other better. He walks towards me slowly and I'm still a little frightened. Then, amazingly and wonderfully, he envelopes me in his wings. He's still slightly damp but warm and soft. He smells nice and comforting, a musty wild animal smell. I feel so loved and happy. Then he turns and leaves and I just stand there feeling so fortunate that this has happened. I look out over the lake and the other owl is standing on that shore. I can see that his eyes are a kind of eerie golden, unlike th owl on my shore. Then he turns and walks away as well.
Well, have fun with this one! :happygolucky:

Whatever the subject meaning of this dream is, you feel that you comprehend and understand it. However, you are not entirely comfortable with it.

You may feel that your life is full of several people around you. However, you don't exactly know them that well. Possibly, a new job or situation has just initiated in your life that introduced you to several people. You feel that these people have given you a new perspective on life - a \"new path\".

Whatever this recent social introduction is, you feel there is a potential relationships of some sort (most likely romantic). However, there are obstacles in the way.

You have no idea if the other individual feels the same way.

      Now these owls are interesting...

I thought about what these owls could represent so I tried to recall owl symbolism. The most significant that comes to mind is the stone owl god that the Bohemian Grove Illuminati worship. Many have said that the owl represents the God Molech but I personally do not think so whatsoever (considering the logical symbolistic relations.. it seems more like Minerva is closely related to Athena... not Molech).

To better elucidate what the common belief of what this God is, here is an brief description of Molech (or Moloch):
      [list]
"King, the name of the national god of the Ammonites, to whom children were
sacrificed by fire. He was the consuming and destroying and also at the same
time the purifying fire. In Amos 5:26, "your Moloch" of the Authorized Version
is "your king" in the Revised Version (comp. Acts 7:43). Solomon (1 Kings 11:7)
erected a high place for this idol on the Mount of Olives, and from that time
till the days of Josiah his worship continued (2 Kings 23:10, 13). In the days
of Jehoahaz it was partially restored, but after the Captivity wholly
disappeared. He is also called Molech (Lev. 18:21; 20:2-5, etc.), Milcom (1
Kings 11:5, 33, etc.), and Malcham (Zeph. 1:5). This god became Chemosh among
      the Moabites."

      [list]

So, the first assumption is that this individual that you have come into contact with may possibly be one that you highly respect. Possible attraction would mean that you feel you require to make a certain sacrifice in order to gain their attention. If not, then you feel blessed just by their simple acknowledge of your existance.

Another approach to the owls is from Lilith. Here is a quote from Petra Grail that postultes the possible resemblance:
      [list]
"These are the characteristics (of athena) we now identify with Lilith, the owl-lady of the night, the Queen of the Witches or wise women, and the one who claimed to be the first woman, who was unwilling to be the wife of Adam unless he submitted to her, as one legend has it. Although not later a virgin, she bacame patron of virgins in the eyes of the pagans, for supposedly resisting male advances...

She was the offspring of an angel. She was at least half angel. Some argue she was 3/4's Nephilim because they think Adam and Eve were themselves sired by the "gods." Indeed, some Jewish tales make her to be 100% angel"
      [list]

Lilith has been depicted with two owls by her side. Lilith became the wife of Enki who is the father of Cain, Luluwa.

With this perspective we may believe that this being introduced to this individual has caused you to cleanse yourself, or create, (the cleaning of the owls) of these owls. Because they both leave you, there is still a sense of a sacrifice here. Most likely personal, it could represent that you feel this introduction has caused both a blessing and a neutral movement - the hugging owl that left on a positive note, and the other which just simply left.

So we are left at, "Soooo..? What does it all mean?" With all life changes, many sacrifices are precipitated. Considering the symbolism, it could mean that you believe the sacrifices are alright and you can deal with them. Also, that they have had one positive reaction on a relative (that's a guess.. could be just an associate) and another reaction which you are unsure as to what result it will have.

Of course, the owls could represent something completely different.. but this is just a guess. I tried.

      Hope I have been enlightening.
