Thread: Having Strange Dreams...

I'm having strange dreams about being deported. Sounds strange, but see, I'm going to the USA on a J1 this coming summer; and I keep having this dream, where I'm in the airport in America on my way in, but instead I get deported. The first time I had this dream, I was deported because I didn't have my passport in my pocket. Then last night, I had the same dream; but when asked what my business was in America, I stuttered for a second and she instantly said 'You're Deported'. Then I woke up.
Odd, I know! Does anybody know what this might mean, and if I should be worried at all?

It's perfectly natural.. the dreams simply represent your anxieties about the trip... irrational fears about it. I wouldn't worry about it a bit. Well, unless you're an illegal alien that is...

But yeah, just to recap, you're anxious. It's natural, if you're worried about anything in the near or sometimes distant future, your dreams will multiply that anxiety by about 200% and then jam them into your brain, because, well, that's what they do. Don't get too worked up about it.
