Thread: Strangest Dream I've Ever Had

Several months ago, I had a really odd dream. I have no idea what it means, if anything, so if anyone wants to give input, feel free.

I was in a large building that was filled with water. Sort of like a giant indoor swimming pool. It felt sort of like a church/museum. The walls were sort of pinkish beige marble and it was silent except for the splashy water noises. The water was sort of grayish blue and I was floating in the water a little bit behind a short dock. The dock looked old, and the wood liked sort of gray-brown and worn. I remember feeling a sort of sense of dread and confusion. A humanlike figure pulled himself out of the water and climbed a wooden ladder on the back of the dock, walked the length of the dock, and jumped off and into the water. And then another figure that looked identical to the first did the same thing, and the process kept going and going.

The figures had the shape of a man, but was just muscle. And the muscle was sort of shiny, like he was covered in a glassy film. I remember feeling sort of scared of them, because they looked pretty disturbing and their robotic process was really weird, but I was more scared of what was making them do it. I felt like there was some sort of force that was making these things climb the dock and jump off it, and that somehow jumping off the dock was like a death to them. I don't really recall what the figures did after they jumped off the dock, they were still there in the water I think, but they felt changed and would kind of just drift or sink or something.

I was trying to hide from them by treading water behind the dock, and it always startled me when a new one emerged from the water in front of me and climbed up on the dock.


Anyone have any ideas? I've been kind of enchanted with this dream.

Wow. Sounds like this is the church. The church is suppose to be full of life. I believe the dock represents the pulpit. It seems that the pulpit members are going overboeard with a systematic routine. This pulpit is old and worn and been the same for a long time. When something sits and never changes it gets worn and old. You felt dread and confusion. Could be what is going on within the pulipit. Seems like an ongoing thing that has been happening for a long time. Might be a traditonal things and no one is breaking the cycle. It is startling to know somehting like this is going on. Services are subject to change according to the Spirit of Lord. The bible says to Quench not the Spirit. Sometimes people block and dont let the spirit do what He wants to do. The bible says that there is a way to man that seems right in his own eyes but leads to distruction. I would pray for these folks and for the people of God, aint no telling whats been blocked.

This is what I feel. You go with what witnesses to you and seek God on my thoughts.

Hm that's an interesting take on it! I know very little about the bible and the church, I'm an atheist, but I might do a bit of research on the pulpit, I've got no clue what that is.

I am glad you thought my feelings were interesting. Well, all I can say is to do your reseach and see what you find out and keep pondering the dream. I'd like to know more as well. Please share. I like trying to figure out dreams. Its fun. I see that you are an athesist. Thats interesting. I dont think that will matter when it comes to dreams of any capacity. Its the supernatural. I been seeing things for years before I had the understanding in some of the things. I still dont know it all. Always something else that can be learned. I am just staying open minded. I personally believe there is a God. I have had some real supernatural experiences that have really made me full believer. I got some stories that are unbelievable. I had to get saved a few times from some spirits. Everything dont just happen in the church but I seen some things there as well. I believe God knows everything and is everywhere, thats all. A pulpit is the area in a church where the ministers are at when they preach to the audience. Let me know what you find out when you research it. There is always something new to learn. I probably left something out.
