Dreams these past few nights...
I've been meditating to find out "who I am" (I have a really big decision that I need to make really soon) and these past few nights my dreams have been pretty wierd...
Night Before Last:
I was in the hallway of an apartment building (if you've seen "Quarantine"... its similar to that hallway, only it goes all the way around the stairs, but there were no more stairs up, so the whole building was only 2 or 3 floors) ANYWAY, there's so much of this one that I don't remember... I thought I'd written it down somewhere, but I can't find it now... ANYWAY, I was hanging out with a guy I knew (I don't know him in "real life" though) and it seemed a lot like "back in the day"... like the 1920's or something... anyway, we were sitting at the top of the stairs and his old apartment was on the corner furthest from him.. My grandma came out of the door just to the right (closer) of his old apartment and his little sister came out of his old apartment. She froze when she saw him & ran to me, as if I were her best friend in the world. I called her Sophie. She saw me as her protector. Her parents had been killed in the apartment (she saw her dad die through the slits in the closet door) and there was something about them having a pet monkey. She had been alone a long time in the apartment, hiding. Anyway, I think she was mad at her brother for not having been there... .... next a guy I DO know in real life (well, knew, I haven't seen him in something like 7 or 8 years) came out of a door behind us (4 apartments away from Sophie's) and Sophie gave the impression that he rescued her. The guy hit on me a little, then went down the stairs (he had to get somewhere) and Sophie's brother (the guy I was hanging out with) seemed a little upset (dare I say, jealous?) that this guy was hitting on me... ... I think I should mention, this guy I used to know, I'd had a huge crush on him from 4th grade on through jr high. I changed schools in the middle of my freshman year of high school though.
Last Night:
I was in some kind of military-style bunker... my mind told me it was some kind of school (btw, I'm in college) and there were bunk-beds (no pun intended, hehe, bunker) with these luggage-rack things on them (they were some cool looking beds, I think I might have to draw them & maybe build one later, except these were made of red metal poles, so if I were to actually build them they'd probably be out of wood) ANYWAY, I was hanging out with this cute guy who happened to be deaf. Communicating with him was a little frustrating at first, but then we were using my laptop to talk, & he saw the saved file for the book I'm writing and wanted to read it... I should mention, I type at over 70WPM and I catch ALL of my own mistakes, even without looking, but when I was typing to him, I was messing up on everything and I couldn't fix my mistakes fast enough, it got really frustrating really fast, but he got the point of what I was saying... Anyway, he was reading my book for a while, he liked it, and he had to stop before he was even a third of the way through because it was time to go to sleep... At first he wanted to sleep on one of the luggage-rack-things (like a metal-cot, only a little smaller that hangs on the side of the bed) because he didn't seem to want to disturb anyone to figure out his sleeping arrangements. He even pulled a little bit of blanket from the person who was asleep on the bed he was next to... I got his attention and gestured to the top-bunk of where I was sleeping, which was empty except for my spare blankets and pillows. He half-smiled and yawned and went up there to sleep.
When I woke up (in my own bed at home, which happens to be a matress on the floor, lol, not a bunk-bed) I half expected to see those red metal bars and have him waking up on the top bunk...
...
Anyway, I'm having some trouble picking up on what "myself" is trying to tell me... :?
Any ideas on what any of this could mean? Or what it could be trying to tell me?
(I never have dreams that are "just dreams" because I forget them just about instantly when I wake up)
OH! & I have a dream-catcher above my bed, lol.... and another one on the far wall that isn't made right, so I have one that catches BAD dreams & one that actually catches GOOD dreams, so I'm left with all the "wierd & random" ones. :roll:
