Every now and again I have a really vivid dream that I know has a meaning if anyone can help me with this one I would greatly appreciate it.

I am on my holiday and am walking to a lake. I have my 8 yr old son with me, my mum and Aunt. We are going to meet my husband and daughter at some point. As we approach the lake I notice that it is completely dry and am really surprised as I expected it to be beautiful. We begin to walk along the edge of the lake (on rocks) when I look up and see a massive tidal wave coming over the lake straight towards us. The wave is brown. I instantly scan for higher ground but there is nowhere for us to climb so I grab my son and we start running and the only place we can run to is below the rocks. I now know that this is it we are about to covered by the wave and so I hold my son. I can see my mum and aunt too but in a vague sort of way. Anyway, as I'm holding my and sqeezing my eyes shut I am filled with dread and sadness and fear and all it feels very real. After a while though the water has not appeared and I realise that the water has stopped. We climb back up on to the rocks and realise that there is a glass wall in front of us and that it has stopped the water. Now there is a beautiful calm blue lake, serene and peaceful. I see a fishing boat at the edge of the lake and we all climb on board and into the boat. Inside it is dark and dirty, the fishermen (all young) are very friendly and tell us that what we experienced is just how the tide works. Although they are friendly and show my son around I know there is something unscrupulous about them and we leave. When I climb onto the deck I watch the lake water recede I also see a woman with her children playing. Suddenly the wave appears (blue this time) and the woman and children start to scream and run but it's dark now. I'm filled with sadness and I wish she knew what I knew about the wave and how everything will be OK.
