High school dream... couple of questions

I was getting off of a bus going to my first day of high school(I'm not sure if it's first year or what). I started walking to the building when I saw a friend of mine and I started walking to him to say hi, when this guy Kevin(from my senior class, real person) rode his bike in between us and missed hitting us by like 6 inches each. So I said "What an asshole" and he turned around and was like "What did you say?" "I said you're a prick for not going around us." "Yeah fuck you." And then he biked away, so I start walking to the building and scattered throughout the crowd I see a bunch of other friends. However, everyone is walking away from the building(I didn't notice this until after the dream) I go in the building and start to make my way upstairs(again, didn't realize until after the dream that this wasn't my school but my mother's old church). Everyone was climbing over the railing to get onto the stairs, so I tried it myself. As I'm struggling to get my second leg over the railing I realize I'm not wearing jeans, and just have my boxers on. I didn't really care so I kept going upstairs and went into my classroom. We had to sit and wait for announcements and as we're waiting my teacher says something about leaving for a second. What could these two things mean? Especially considering I've been out of High School since June of 2007 and am almost done with Community College and am about to transfer into a 4 year university. None of the friends I saw were good friends, more like school acquaintances... none of my real friends were anywhere to be seen... what's that all about? And I've never before had one of those "forgot my pants" dreams ever so why would I have one about a school that has nothing to do with me anymore?

I'm not good with dream interpretation, but I don't think it's that odd that you had a dream about high school. I still have dreams about high school and middle school (and even one about elementary school) and I graduated in 2003. Now that you mention it, it seems most of those school dreams I have had only had people I wasn't that close to in them. My theory for the lack of pants thing is that we don't usually pay attention to our clothes in our dreams and when something forces us to notice (you having trouble climbing over the rail) we notice we are wearing the last thing we can recall wearing when we went to bed. Also it could just be the whole uncomfortable situations (not being able to climb over the railing when everyone else seemed to be doing it fine) lead to more uncomfortable situations like being in your underwear in public (but you said it didn't really bother you, so I don't know).

Yeah I actually was embarassed by that, but no one else was mentioning it, so I just ignored it. Also, what do you guys think the whole everyone was walking away from the school and I was going towards it could be about? I like your lack of pants theory... it makes a lot of sense to wear in the dream world what you wore to bed.

Hmmm... well I do have a really negative body image(with good reason, but it;s negative nonetheless). So that could be a legit answer. Did you happen to find anything? This dream was really weird... I'm finding myself still thinking about it. That never happens for me.
