A Simple Dream
The dream I had the night before last was that I was sitting on my bed playing the cello (which I've never actually done) and after a while, two of the strings -- each a string apart -- broke, and turned into tassels, which I began to pull out of the scroll.
Can anybody give me some insight here? Thanks!

With me, I feel that if I am afraid something will happen, it will happen. When playing guitar or violin (in real life), I'm always afraid that one of the tightly wound strings will pop and hit me in the eye. The "what I'm afraid will happen" concept in dreams hasn't happened lately, but has in the past.
"He's awfully close to the edge of the roof, he might fall."
He falls
"He should be careful with that pitchfork, he could put an eye out."
He puts an eye out.
"Needled scare me, he might have a syrenge"
He has a syrenge.
You get the picture. No, I don't know what it means.

Chances are that the celo reminds you of a certain individual or commitment (school, band, etc.).
The fact that you broke these strings which turned them into tassels could signify that you feel you have manipulated this person or commitment. It could represent a lot of things actually..
In order to better understand your dream, what does the celo instrument remind you of? Any person?
What kind of scroll was it? Old? What do you think was on it?
I look forward to your feedback.

Well, my first crush played the cello. By "the scroll" I mean the scroll of the instrument, you know, the very top where the tuning pegs are? I just started to slowly pull them out of the instrument after they had broken.
