Thread: please help me understand this dream.

Last night I had a dream that a girl I like came to my house and asked to speak with me. she drove up in her jeep (her real life car )and then came to the door.I don't remember why but i know i was expecting her to come because i said somthing about it to my mother (although i dont remember exactly what, i think it was somthing to do with the girl bringing somthing to me that i had let her borrow) and i was waiting for her at the door.. I went outside and it was wet as if it had just rained, and it seemed kinda steamy sort of how i picture a rain forest and she was wet as if she has been walking in the rain but i was dry. I remember noticing that the roof over the porch was farther into the yard than it is in real life. We walked a little ways in to my front yard (which was many times larger than in real life) and I asked if i could put my arm around her an she said i could. After a minute of walking we stopped and she told me that she loved me and that she wanted children and wanted me to be their father. I told her i loved her and wanted to make her happy but that i didn't think it would be the responsible thing to do.
Then i woke up.
In the dream (and real life) we have never dated or had any sexual encouters so the dream seems to be out of the blue. She works where i work but she had left for a another job for a while and has just returned. This dream was very realistic and I can still picture it very very vividly, almost like looking at pictures.

pleas help me understand this dream.
