Well, maybe it means that you were having struggles with him (which represents cancer). He had no problems with anyone except you and you felt hurt by him. (Explains the bracelets?) Maybe you kept having dreams about getting back together because you didn't feel like it was meant to be over. Maybe your mind was telling you even if this wasn't a great experience I'm sure we could still have something if you ever met again. Not meaning a relationship but, a friendship. I don't know.
