My only dream I have that is recurring is something I would like to see broken down, if possible.

(From the recurring dreams thread)

Ok, I hate to bring up hockey in my dreams, but guess what - my only recurring dream involves hockey. And it's not the same exact same, but theres always the same concept: some critical part of what I need to play (skates, stick, etc) is missing. Example:

I'm going to take a face-off...the ref is getting ready to drop the puck, when all of a sudden I realize I don't have a stick...now, this is absurd - first, someone would have obviously told me I don't have a stick...I SHOULD notice, but I don't...and even if I don't, that's what...a 10 second fix...? But I always panic like there is no fix and that's that.

Second variation : No skates...same thing...again, something that would really never happen, as why would I go onto the ice with just one skate? That's absurd...

Third Variation: Broken Stick

One more tidbit: I really hate missing hockey games, and have only missed about 3-5 in my life of playing (almost 15 years)...so I don't know if it's just a literal interpretation that I feel left out of not playing, or if it means I'm missing something in life, or what...but any thoughts would be appreciated!
