Some "Dream Dictionaries" interpret teeth as a forewarning that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. Or that you may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.
Personally I don't put too much into Dream Dictionaries or such interpretations. For the most part, when it comes to interpretations I find that they differ from person to person, as everyone is different. That said, there can't really be one type of interpretation for any dream. Pretty vague advice, I know.
If you do however believe in interpretations, the most likely it seems in your case would be the second part of the above interpretation. That "you may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you."
Hmmmm.
Well, I certainly don't go along with anything predictive like "a forewarning that your health and/or business is in jeopardy" either. And I agree that meanings are personal. Nevertheless there are some things that are common between humans - e.g. teeth are used for biting and chewing - and perhaps also cultural similarities too like a belief that teeth fall out if we don't clean them. Any independent interpretation will start from there.
Not sure about the uttering words bit. Why teeth? Tongue perhaps.
I would probably start with the physical - i.e, what have I done to have these teeth falling out. Then I would think about why an issue in my unconscious is manifesting in this way.
If this was my dream: cleaning teeth is a daily process I would never skip. Probably the only "compulsory" daily process when it comes down to it. It would be quite something to not clean my teeth for one or more days. So what is it about me that's like me not cleaning my teeth? Have I been neglecting some part of me lately and is it disintegrating?
Anyway, that's my meaning. But Sand's may (and probably will) be different.
That is supposed to be a common dream sign, especially for young people. I've never experienced it myself.
I used to have these a lot too more when I was in my teens...maybe it has something to do with how when you were a kid you actually experienced this for real when you lost your baby teeth, and now you're past that point in your life but it was not that long ago so your brain still remembers that feeling...like how after you're done with school you still dream about school a lot. who knows, personally i dont think dream interpretation has any use
Once my mom had that pretty bad as well. She said if it didn't stop, she was going to go to the dentist.
Anyway, it's perfectly natural, although unpleasant. Eventually you'll stop having them. Try to get more exercise during the day. That increases delta sleep, and shortens REM. When your body repairs muscle tissue during the night, your mind isn't as busy focusing on creating dreams.
I try to study dream symbols. Teeth falling out is a fairly common dream. In some cases it seems connected to reality. Teeth are permanent or semi permanent parts of our bodies. They can fall out and when they do its quite traumatic. It could be that teeth falling out links to relationship breakdowns. In a similar sense we may feel a sad loss if we leave a job or situation where we know many people. Its as if we are losing a part of ourselves.

Dreams are about the important things in our lives. One of the most important issues for us to consider is our own health. If some health issue has been affecting you then its possible a dream could be about that. But also if you are taking major risks with your health then dreams maybe about that. So look for connections with your general health. Think especially about new feelings about your health.

The one thing that I've always heard is that this dream is a sign of stress. Are you stressed?
Dreaming of teeth falling out is symbolic and most likely has nothing to do with health or the condition of your literal teeth, unless you are grinding them in your sleep. Our teeth symbolize the ability to “understand”. We use them to masticate (chew) our issues. We break our problems and issues down to the most simply understood and symbolically digestible state. There is something that you aren't understanding clearly in your life which is causing confusion or embarrassment.
For those of you who do not believe in the instructional benefit of dreaming, there are other places in the forum that you could go to express your ideas. People write in this part of the forum because they do find some benefit.
sry to get off topic but that's great! my teeth fell out in a dream one time and it was like an instant lucid! If this recurrs (Spelling?) then it could be an awesome dream sign!!!
