In this dream I have a robot living with me who has a function to turn into anything I want him to. I was showing the robot to my mother - I showed her how he can turn into a cat, which he did, and then he came back into the robot form. For some reason I was trying to impress her by displaying all of his capabilities, so I told her that he can even be turned into an idea boyfriend, and I told her "look" after which I pointed to him and pressed some button after which he extended his arm to me in some gentleman-like graceful gesture, so I put my arm on his as if we were about to ballroom dance or something. Then I thought about how my mom would probably want him to turn into a servant so I thought about activating the feature in him which would enable him to serve drinks, etc... Anyway, as I was holding onto his arm with mine I started to feel my arm hurt because it was in an uncomfortable position and after some more pain of holding onto him I looked at my right hand and two fingers got broken off, my index and middle finger, and oddly enough I looked at my mom at that moment, bent down to the floor to pick up my fingers nonchallantly and in a matter of seconds they were back on my hand as if they were never even broken in the first place and I continued to hold on to the robot without any sense of anything being wrong about the whole thing. I have a hunch as to what some of the symbology in this dream may represent, but I'm not too sure, and cannot figure out the underlying meaning of the dream as a whole, so any constructive responses will be greatly appreciated.
