Thanks, mountain, I've already given some thought to the possibility that The Red Girl was part of my subconscious, due to the hair-tangling thing. I've had DCs like that before... like, holding hands, etc, often suggest that sort of thing. I'm already proceeding under hte assumption that at some level she represents some part of me, but I'm not sure exactly what. I'm going to see if I can incubate her again.
