Bodies of water represent emotion, and snakes represent life, both the good and the bad. The snake drowning you in the water could be the dream saying symbolically that "your life is you being suffocated by your emotions". |
|
DROWNING : Drowning can suggest that you are overcome by an issue. It symbolises a sense of powerlessness and often a lack of control. So look for issues which are dogging your mind that leave you with that sense of powerlessness. |

Dream don't predict the future, they represent how the dreamer feels inside. You might not even represent yourself in that dream, it could be your character quality. |

Well, personally I take more of a literal approach to "interpretation," whereby just about everything that you see in your dreams is a result of what you see and experience in real life. Just recently I saw a snake near where I live and then several nights later dreamed that it was in my house. It's possible that the same thing happened, or he saw one on TV or overheard a conversation about one. As for the dreams I've had where water has been involved, nearly every time there's a large body of water, there's been some kind of competition. And I don't know what could have triggered those. |

Hey, I may not be an expert on dream interpretation but to ask the audience, why has the friend dreamt this? Is she worried about him, maybe, and feels he is losing control or being overwhelmed by his emotions? It might not be HIM actually losing control but the friend worrying that he might, or losing control OVER him, etc? |
