confusion with old friends

ok, this dream is confusing to me. I was back in high school with my best friend at the time (Dawn). we were looking at pictures from when she was young. There was always her and another girl a bit younger. I guess i was at her house becuase I asked her mother who the other little girl was. She said "Just another girl she went to childcare with" Her mother seemed really upset though - and she didn't seem to want to talk about it at all. I don't remember how but we found out that the other little girl in the picture was actually my friends little sister who died when she was very young. Her name was Laura **my name** Then somehow we were at school. My friend was crying, all of my classmates were around and we were talking about it - trying to console her, she was so shocked from the news. It also seemed like it was the last day of the school year. She took out a big bag of candies and said she wanted everyone to have some - for being so nice to her. I guess everyone was still kindof feeling awkward about this sad story becuase no one really took any. The teacher came back in and we had to take our seats. My friend gave me the bag of candies and left the room still a little upset. I took a desk, set it by the door, and started setting up the candies so people could grab more as they left. For some reason this made my other friend sarah mad, "you're not supposed to do that Laura! sit down!" I argued back - "why not? the teacher dosen't care ! . . . . . besides, this is what Dawn wanted, that's why she left me with the candy!" . . . the rest gets hazy from here. Dawn does not realy have a little sister. I'm not sure why we had the same name in the dream either. Or why our friend sarah was mad at me for trying to give out the candy when she left. Does anyone know what this means?????

mayhaps its a reminiscence of the death of a chapter of your life? Mayhaps you miss it a little or are possibly even a little angry with yourself for loosing touch (or what have you)?
