Well, I suppose your belief in this thought depends on whether you think that we create our dreams, or whether dreams inspire us.

Perhaps dream characters are merely a reflection or a concentration of a particular trait that we harbor or desire. Maybe we ourselves unknowingly create these characters to transform our conscious being into something that we have always strived to be.

But I assume that you dont believe in such theories. An outside influence might as well be the source of these subconscious..incantations?
