This is kind of what the dream interpretation sub-forum is for?
Like Tiktaalik said, any specific meanings will depend a lot on your life and everything you've lived through and the rest seems pretty valid too. In any case, dream interpretation is ultimately up to the dreamers themselves, since only they can know all the "baggage" and how contexts might be relevant.
However, I'd still like to share a thought or two here.
About the anger and feeling cheated; for one thing these are common emotional reactions that can come up when dealing with a death. Even if you didn't live through these specific emotional reactions, on some level what happened in the dream is an accurate reaction to how it could feel to actually live through the dream events, and that's kind of something useful to remember about dreaming.
In general, and giving wonky dream logic a bit of leeway here, our reactions in dreams often seem to correspond to what they would actually be in an equivalent waking-world situation.
This on its own may not seem very useful to know I suppose. I personally think that the use of thinking about this is that it lets you assess your own behaviours and reactions. Even if this might not lead to lucidity in itself, it may lead you to not automatically react in certain ways to certain events.
