Thread: Dream of Surviving a Plane Crash

This dream followed another one that was completely unrelated. To put it simply, all I remember about that dream was that the kids all dressed like they would in late 1800s or early 1900s. A bunch of the kids were all in one dingy room and one held a gun, a type of m16 and was examining it with a smile like it was some kind of toy. That's all I remember of that one. The plane crash dream was later. It may have been after I woke up in the middle of the night and returned to sleep.

The interior looked nothing like a plane - honestly, it looked more like a large class room or a small auditorium type setting. There were movable chairs all neatly laid out in long order of rows and columns, the wallpaper was a light purple, I believe. I don't remember any other wall decor and there was a lot of space to move around. The only way I knew that this was a "plane" is that the door to the room was missing and I could see the outside through the doorway (which was near the northern right-side corner of the room). I could see the clouds moving by fast, I could hear the sounds one would expect to hear if they were soaring at hundreds of miles per hour in the skies, the wind muffling all sound, etc. It felt like I was in an aiprlane, but it looked nothing like it.

I then picked up a note that was on a nearby table or desk. On it, what I remember was something along the lines of "the pilot has left. All the parachutes are gone. Did he remember to take one?" I definitely remember reading something about all parachutes being gone, the thing about the pilot i'm not 100% certain about. I knew at that point that the "plane" was going to crash soon. I was worried, not really terrified but pretty worried. I had a good feeling I'd come out of this alive. I laid on the floor on my side and grabbed the table/desk (which was made of glass I think) with both hands because I thought this would be the best position if the plane flipped over a lot.

The landing was pretty rough and the plane bounced up and down really heavily a lot, but nothing fell apart and I don't think anything moved out of place much. I expected a lot worse to be honest. I survived the landing unharmed. I believe the landing site was a jungle or at least somewhere out in an open with a lot of lush, bright greenery, like maybe South America or somewhere in Asia. I wouldn't know because I didn't go outside of the plane to see. I only saw the outside from the doorway at pretty much the same spot I stood out.

I didn't go outside, but I decided to turn around and found a doorway to another room at the back of the plane. I entered it and found a spacious room, the walls all covered with mirrors, but I saw no reflection in any of them. There was nothing else in the room besides another single mirror standing perfectly in the center all by itself. When I approached it, I saw my reflection, but it was of my younger self from maybe 4-5 years ago if I estimate right (I'm 20 now, so this would have been early high school time. I could definitely tell it was around this time because of how my hair looked, my posture and my facial differences.

That's all I remember. Could anyone try and propose an explanation? Appreciate it. Plane crashes, surviving plane crashes, and mirror dreams all have a bunch of different explanations one can find so I just want to try and put it all together.
