Dream Interpretation and Birthdays

On August 5, 2012, 7:12 a.m. I recorded a dream that made no sense. There were 2 shirts that had dates on them: July 25, and another date that I forgot. 2 days ago I had a dream of me and a friend (Akundo) and he was sad and needed cheering up, so I gave him a big hug :shadewink: I woke up, called his sister, and she ended up telling me that his birthday was in a couple of days (July 25) I kind of freaked out and couldn't tell whether or not his birthday had anything to do with the dream that I had a year ago that made no sense. I met Akundo in February 2013. Coincidence or not? I need interpreting...

Well, if it is not a coincidence, is it also not a coincidence that my birthday is August 5? Some people would say that of course it is a coincidence, others would say there is no such thing as coincidences, and yet others would say that we cannot prove whether or not it is a coincidence. Personally I think I fall in that third group.

The other shirt may mean that you did not know his birthday, or perhaps even that you forgot to ask about it, in future.
I wonder if your first dream was precognizant of the fact he may be a bit misearable on his birthday, needed cheering up which you could do, and that's why you had it.

Your birthday is some coincidence, Joanna.
But the difference of course is you had no connection with acmj13.
So hers I suspect is a real co-incidence. Not the co-inciding of two seemingly unrelated events. But the co-inciding of two related events. It's just too coincidental, for me - the series of events.

Playing devil's advocate here (probably not what I believe, but maybe):

From the point of view of "there is no such thing as a coincidence", one could argue that it does not matter that acmj13 and I do not know each other: from that view point one could say that the reason why acmj13 chose to include the fact that the dream occurred on August 5 was so that this would catch my attention, since I am still on the fence on whether or not to believe in precognitive dreams personally maybe I needed to pay attention here, or maybe it was to ensure that I would be more likely to answer? See, one could argue that there is no such thing as a coincidence, that it is all part of a plan.
