The dream starts with you feeling fed up, and continues on a similar note in a way, despite funfair and granddaughter who should make this all better but don't. Is something currently giving you a bad taste? Is something not up to your usual tastes? Do you smell a rat? Is there something that could be considered a win, but you do not consider it as such? Something that you feel you ought to feel better about than you do, or something that others are saying makes you lucky, but you consider an issue? Something is off. |

Thanks for that Joanna.....I didn't get the feeling the cat was chasing the rat...It felt more like they were feeling sorry for themselves being stuck in the jug. They both seemed glad to be out....funny thing dreams |

Well, if I had been stuck in a jar someone had been drinking out of, I bet I too would feel sorry for myself, and be glad to be out of there. It occurred to me that the rat and cat can also be thought to be part of you: do you have a reason to feel stuck in an unpleasant situation, which you are eager to get out of? Oh, and yes, dreams are indeed funny. And I feel that some have more meaning behind them, but others are just bizarre mental associations that start out with something that may be inoccuous, and before you know it the dreaming mind has exaggerated it and blown it out of proportion, and transformed it following a weird (il)logic, and at the end we get a result that is funny indeed. |
