      Whenever I walk through ghosts...

[[ Around a paragraph means that it is most important, and if you don't want to read all of it at least read that please.

I have a lot of ghost dreams and they usually consist of the same formula; family being taken away so I have to deal with the ghosts alone, them being everywhere I go, them chasing after me and trying to 'get me' and overall scaring me.

[[Another element is whenever the ghost dream gets semi-lucid I feel all brave like usually and walk into the transparent, blue staticy mist. Then something jumps out at me and get's in my face making really loud staticy sounds and screams (which does scare the crap out of me every time) and as soon as I purposely step back, my dream is no longer lucid. My interpretation on not becoming lucid probably has something to do losing the battle, or something.]]

The whole dreams themselves, the staticy figures and they scare me, the ghosts themselves, they resemble the Slenderman pretty well. Other then the fact that they are invisible, and when they do become visible they are blue, staticy mists. Mind you, these dreams have been happening before the Slenderman creepypasta existed, and most of them before I even heard of the Slenderman.

One of my biggest fears is to be in contact with a ghost that is not friendly, heck even if I seen a friendly ghost I would probably kill myself (not literally). That probably has a lot to do with having so many ghost dreams of the same context.

So what is your interpetation on this?

i would definitely interpret this as a fear of death. the symbolism here is obvious: ghosts = death. the static signifies the incomprehensibility of death, and when you confront death by walking into the ghost you are immediately frightened back. the loss of lucidity is probably due to your fear confounding your powers of reason.

as for the overarching theme of these dreams -- being chased by ghosts/monsters etc is one of those ubiquitous dreams that everyone has but i think that, in your case, the fact that your dream-antagonists are always ghosts is salient. i would guess it's because you're intensely afraid of death, possibly due to an event in your childhood, and therefore you're terrified of your own mortality (i.e. death catching up to you).

Sweetie, if you're having spirits lunge at you and scare you, screaming with loud static sounds, you're already in contact with something unfriendly, so relax, you don't have to be scared of doing that anymore. You hit the nail on the head for your own interpretation when you said "That probably has a lot to do with having so many ghost dreams of the same context." Maybe you're facing your fears to prepare you for something bigger, more important, in the way of spiritual contact.

Thats coming from someone whose been in contact with them all her life.

Spirits take whatever form they need to in order to match your energy, so the communication is easiest (they do most of the work, we - the living - are the ones with the boundaries, not them). I'm sorry, I'm going have to look up the Slenderman to get a visual, I've never heard of that movie/character.

Question HaunTed by your own ghOsT

Yes scared of death - figuratively.
Many have dreams about ghosts and death, as they are perfect symbols for dying on the inside, or loss.

I think you fear losing your family, in some way anyway, having to face what lives on after that alone.
Maybe you feel separated in some way, alone. It's quite common really.
This fear chases or haunts you.

[[When you get lucid or think clearly - which is when fear departs in the light - you are brave and true, and walk into your mental staticy mist, like Flybirds said. Blue might mean it's when you are more peaceful then, or cold, like ghosts supposedly are, but fear is.
Then your fear jumps out at you, not tuned into reality, screaming.
When you step back, you give into fear, becoming unclear. Yes, losing the battle.]]

Your fears take the form of Slenderman because that is a scary figure in life you know.
Fears are invisible when you are unaware of them, and become visible when you see then.
The ghosts in your dreams before Slenderman probably took another form. So what blackbirdrising said I agree with, in another way. (There are a lotta birds on here, including me.)

So I think the only unfriendly ghosts you have been in contact with are your own.
Parts of you that should be living that have died and now haunt you.

      hello Superman

Your ghosts are inner conflicts and tensions caused by the daily life.
If you face up to their in the dreams, you will surmount easier your difficultys in the real life.

You must develop a strong motivation before you go sleep as for the lucid dreams.
It's a excellent training for become a lucid dreamer.

my biggest fears is to be in contact with a ghost that is not friendly
A human is stronger as ghosts, a astral entity doesn't have his power.

Why, believe you, they are several of their coming, while you are alone ?

Otherwise, a ghost is a dream sign for you :
if you see a ghost, you know that you are dreaming.
