Hello everyone, I'm new here and seeking a little help. I don't really know anything about dream interpretation. Two nights ago I dreamt that it was night and I was standing in a clearing. A stag with the biggest antlers you have ever seen stepped out of the trees surrounding the clearing and walked up to me.

I could hear people telling me he was going to attack me with his antlers. I was down on my knees and had a moment of panic... then the stag looked into my eyes and I knew he loved me completely. He started rubbing his face against mine. I reached up and put my hands on his face and we were nuzzling each other. I knew that he was being careful to keep his antlers from hitting my face. I loved him completely and he loved me. We were so happy to see one another and were so conntected - I felt like a long-lost friend/family member had returned. The feeling in the dream was pure love.

That's it... lol. However, I don't have a clue what this dream means and I am so depressed now that I can barely function. I know that sounds stupid and crazy. Sorry, so long... can anyone help with a meaning for this? This was more than a dream somehow, but I don't know what to do about it or why I'd be depressed over something so beautiful. About me... 44, female, 2 grown sons, and married.
