Thread: A war in heaven dream? Interpretation please!

Unless you really believe it was a message from god I'd think it was just another awesome dream.

I think there could be many reasons. You said you were just baptised, maybe that caused your subconcious to dream of something Bible related? Maybe you were thinking about Lucifer in waking life and it carried on in your dream. It also could have been random chance. There could have been many reasons you had this dream.

Yes may be you're right... I didn't say I was "just" baptised, I said I was "only" baptised... I was baptised when I was a baby and that's probably the only religious thing I've ever done, I don't attend church or read the bible, but I do believe in and pray to God and went to a catholic school (not like its any different from an ordinary school) Maybe this is my subconsciousness sending me messages...

Sometimes our mind connects thoughts to imagery in nifty ways. Being a quiet person and connecting that to visions of angels as quiet observers and helpers may be a natural thought process.

It's clear it affected you because you wrote it here. I know you've been thinking about the dream since. I wonder, were you thinking about any religious or spiritual topic weeks ago when you had the dream? It could influence your thoughts.

Yeah well I guess I always have a lot on my mind, But God and spiritual matters are on my mind most often, I said I'm not religious as in a church goer but I do think of God on a regular bases in a lot the things I do, and that also muddled with other things that are important to me like I was studying for my exams a few weeks ago and I have passed all of them now... But other than that I can't exactly recall what else was on my mind a few weeks ago...

One might say the war in heaven represented a spiritual conflict within yourself and since you are the only one who can solve that dilemma no one else can speak up for you or any of the other dream characters (as manifestations of your own spirituality and personality) and if this isn't resolved you will find yourself in a very unhappy place.


You claim not to be particularly religious but you think about spirituality often. Perhaps it's time to take it to the next level and find some inner peace.

I would bet your local church or priest could give you proper guidance.

Yes I guess so... but I am spiritual I actually discussed religion a lot with the teachers at my catholic school, and they have given me a lot of spiritual guidance, I would always lead the prayers in class and when I went to church with the school (which was essential) I sometimes said the readings, but me and my family (personally) don't go to church (I mean when we don't have to, we wouldn't choose to) so I don't necessarily look at that as a bad thing after all I have always believed that a house is no different from a church because God can still hear me at home.
But I totally understand I know a priest who is close to my family, I could discuss this with him perhaps...

You did not fall from heaven if you believe in the Christian scriptures nor were you ever an angel to begin with. The bible is very clear that angles were created before humans. Humans and angels in The Bible are two seperate created individuals that can not incarnate as each other. Revelation in the Bible speaks that Lucifer rebelled out of pride to be higher than God (he became too arrogent thinking he can excel himself above Yahweh being he was one of the highest and beautiful angels created being a "Cherub" angelic being) and convienced a third of the angelic host (called the dragon whoms tail sweeps a third of the stars from heaven in Revelation 12:4) are forever banished from heaven. They have (or will be depending on what you believe in this area) been thrown down to earth. However not in human form but still in spirit form and they will face a final judgement after the tribulation period.

Now I'm not a Christian...but Ive studied almost all religions and had my dips in to them. Maybe you heard a sermon on the "end times" or the fall of Lucifer/Satan and it somehow got seeped into your dream. However in Christian thelogy there's nothing written about angels becoming human-beings.

Here's another one. All indications from the Christian Scriptures indicate that a fallen angel (demon) NEVER becomes a human-being. In fact no angel whether good or bad (fallen) will ever be a human and a human will never be an angel. Humans and angels are two seperate groups that can not combind. The bible doesnt say fallen angels became incarnated into humans. It states cleary they remained in spirt formed called "unclean spirits" or "fallen spirits" and are temporary banished to earth where they will be judged, and sentenced to the Lake of Fire on judgement day. Yes I know this, I didn't say that I believed I was an angel but I was in the dream, maybe I was taking the place as someone else in this which represented "An" angel, but in order for this dream to be interpreted you must understand that I "was an angel in my dream" and this is what happened ...et coetera
But Like I said before, I don't really read the bible much but because of studying at school I also know this, thanks for the history but it wasn't an interpretation, however It would have been helpful if I didn't know that... Thank you anyway you have obviously put a lot of effort into your reply by gathering biblical evidence to tell me the history of what an angel is and what the bible said.
