Seeking Dream Interpretation - Recurring Dream

Hey Dream Views. I'm hoping to get my dream interpreted. I've been having this recurring dream for years. I cant remember exactly how long but definitely over 3 years. It's not really the "same exact" dream over and over, but these dreams are always in the same "city" that I dream of. Hope this doesn't get to long. About Me: I am 21 years old. I currently live in San Manuel, Az. I lived in Yuma, Az for about a year and a half when I was 16, and the rest of the time I lived in Tucson, Az. I usually have this dream often. Sometimes it seems like it's been forever since I've had this dream, then other times I am having the dream every night. My dreams are always in the same "city" which seems to be Tucson, Yuma, and San Manuel all mashed together. Sometimes I'll see the school in yuma or my house in San Manuel. Most of the time though there are qualities of this city that are not of the other 3 citys. In these dreams I am ALWAYS doing something random, never usually anything crazy or exciting(now that I think about it, last night's dream was unusually active/eventful). I just do regular things. One time I'll be parking my car in a parking garage, or going to a school. Maybe once in a while something weird will happen like in 1 dream there was a helicopter crash. I see my good friends alot in these dreams. Also, it seems like there might be a variation of age in these dreams. It's like I just continue life in my dreams(not literally). Even other dreams that I have that might not be obviously part of this "series" seem like they could be connected. All my dreams seem to be one big dream. Last night's Dream(just one of my dreams for example): Last night I dreamed that I was in the neighborhood that I grew up in. I was walking with my friends(2 or 3 friends) that I was with everyday when I was about 15-16. I can't remember exactly which friends but they were good friends. We were walking down the street(halfway between where I used to live on the corner, and the '7 11' store on the other corner. how it is in real life). All of a sudden, a cop car or two comes speeding up behind us and we all start running. I run and jump into a yard then run through the yard and to the next street.(In this part of the dream when I am running through yards then finally get to the street on the other side, it seems like it went by really fast and it's real hazey and not clear. once I get to the street then everything returns to normal). I see an apartment complex across the street from where I am now with a wall around it and one gate that I can see in one section(Not there in real life. But I seem to remember an apartment complex in another dream. this might be the same one if all my dreams connect to the same city). I try to run across the street to the complex because I am scared that a cop is going to turn the corner onto the street. I TRY to run but I'm having trouble. The most I can do is a kind of skipping. I spend what seems like about 20-30 seconds trying to run. This is where the dream ends. I think there might have been more but I can't remember. The city: To me this is the weirdest part of my dreams. This one "city" seems to be a culmination of the 3 citys that I have lived in, but still different. It's really hard to explain. Sometimes they seem like all separate places, but then I'll have another dream where they are both there. I hope this is enough info. Thanks alot..

This sounds pretty normal to me. Dreams are made of memories and thoughts all mashed up together so it's very common to find yourself in a place composed of bits and pieces of real places you're familiar with. I doubt there's any rel consistency from dream to dream - more likely the same places just keep apprearing in a lot of the dreams, so it just seems more consistent than it really is.
