      Unsure of the dreams meaning

The dream didn't make very much sense to me at all but this is the story.

I went to a concert (Maroon 5 and Sum 41...???) at the Skydome in toronto but the stage was a basketball court. I was with two of my best friends and apparently I was dating a woman (??) who drove a VERY yellow corvette. She wasn't there but all of a sudden I stood up and said "You F***ing B***h!!" because I was all of a sudden aware that she had cheated on me. (for the record, I'm not dating anyone right now but I am "seeing" someone and it's a guy not a girl) Then, I broke her corvette pencil...but in the dream I knew this represented me smashing her car windows (??). Also, my old office job was in the same building as the skydome and I was trying to work there again (currently unemployed as staying home with 9 month old baby boy). Any help interperuting this would be great.

***I also had a different dream last night about a road being blocked but cut down trees, snow and piles of dirt. My mother was helping me remove the trees and dirt as the snow melted (very quickly). I'm assuming this has to do with obstacles I'm dealing with right now?

      THANKS!!!!!!

I'm no expert at dream interpretation...I'm clueless on the first one, but the second one sounds easy, like you said it sounds like it has to do with obstacles you are dealing with now. I'm thinking the snow melting away might be a problem that is easily taken care of, maybe so much so that it;s taking care of itself? maybe it's trying to say that you shouldn't have to worry about that particular problem because it's going away on it's own. a very important key in dream interpretation is to remember how you felt through-out the dream, your emotions towards things. another important thing to remember is not to jump to conclusions! a dream may mean something completely different than it appears. ultimately you are the only one who can interpret your dreams, people can try to help, but dreams are very personal and there really is no general way of doing it. it all depends on the way you personally see things.

I haven't read much on dream interpretation, but I did buy a book not too long ago and it helped me alot. I learned alot of things to consider when interpreting dreams that I never would have thought of, maybe it will help you?

      I'm sorry I didn't help much, I wish I could offer more.

I like to take a shot at these and sometimes it helps, but I agree with p-dolly, its you who has to see what it means. But here goes, the location of the first dream could be a clue. What does the "very" yellow mean, a promotion that someone else got that you deserved? I'm not sure, you broke her pencil, if yo uwere and office worker that might symoblize your desire you break someone elses success for having betrayed you, or maybe just by proxy because you wanted more but you saw someone else attaining. Its probably hard adjusting to being a new mother if this is your first time, perhaps there are things you wuold rather be doing, as much as you may love your child a new baby is a huge responsibility. both dreams tell the same story from a different perspective, this happens alot.

Let me know if that helps, the melting snow is a good sign I think right. Winter does not last forever and eventually the road crew will be out to clear that road and the normal flow of life or the new normal flow of life will continue. I would assume that your mother is either involved in helping you through or implicated in your life struggles.

      Regards,

      EJ

Here is an idea that might help sort out some of your dreams. Get a piece of paper and make a circle for every part of your dream then write the names down inside each one like : a circle for mother and corvette, old job etc. Then try to draw straight lines (arrows) that point in one direction between the circles. For instance is mother connected to corvette? Which way does the arrow point? Now the point here is to investigate the heuristics of your dream first then worry about causal information if there is any.

As you work through the different possible mind maps little things will stand out to you, maybe you will arrive at a graphic representation of the dream that just hits you like a lightning bolt. At any rate you will gain some insight because it is your mind that made it up and you think like...well like you.

      Hope that helps,

      EJ

I would consider just taking notes of your dreams for a bit, a few weeks, sometiems, interpretations take a bit to figure out, they need time, in order to better understand them, so maybe making a dream journal, with common symbols ,dream themes, etc, will help you with your overall dream analysis, since it does take time for some dreams to make sence, it helps to see the big picture and not only bits and pieces of it..
I would say that your inner self is blocked right now, and it could even be that you are not moving too fast in your life right now, however, this is a time to go with the flow and let ideas come and go,..surely the right one will come along, and that is the time to act..
I think that by writing down how you felt upon waking would show you more of what the dream is saying to you, I beleive firmly that most dreams are our hearts speaking to us, guideing us along our path in life,
You should also ask your dreams for guidance and ask questions such as "what is this dream telling me" and write down anything thing that comes to you, feelings, thoughts etc...
good luck and with time , surely the answers will come to you..
