Thread: third eye

I had a dream last night that seems a little more odd than my usual dreams, and was wondering if anyone had any idea as to what it might mean.

All I basically remember is this one dream character coming up to me, and was trying to convince me to do something that I can't really recall, all i remember is I didn't want to do it. He was looking very unhealthy, and had 3 eyes, two normal eyes and one in the middle on his forhead. I tried escaping his annoying clinginess and then I found myself trying to get away from everyone that I saw, and they all had this third eye. It was almost like zombies all slowly coming after me, but I wasn't scared more of just being annoyed.
Everything seemed more intence and vivid so I think this dream was somehow significant.
Anybody?

INTERESTING!! Are you sure you have never heard of this??

That third eye is called the Suneye and is related to the third chakra. It indicates a connection with the spiritual and psychic realm. Seriously, I'm not BSing you here. Search on Suneye or Chakra. There are techniques by which you can take advantage of this.

If you have this dream again, try and embrace the people, speak to them or somthing (i would love to have a dream like this).

I have heard of a so called third eye, and that it is somehow a metaphor for seeing with your soul or something, but thats about it. I didn't realize the significance in my dream, I was just like, "wow, he has three eyes." Whether this dream had a message i guess only time will tell, I just wish I could remember what they were trying to tell me or make me do.

Well obviously he has heard of it. I mean really, the dream is loaded with prepackaged symbolism.

The third eye, the spiritual people trying to awaken him. Depending on his state of mind the whole thing could represent his perceptions of DV.

I had a girlfriend once, we were both the same age around 22 at the time and I made a remark to her about her car. It was a silver plymouth lazer a nice car, but I said something jokingly like "Here comes Wendy riding her silver buffalo." The next time I saw her she told me she had a dream about being naked and riding around on a silver buffalo. That should have been my first clue.

No but really some people are just very impressionable and it may be that the idea of leaving your body and journeying to other planets is a mind blower for you.

Just a few mundane thoughts. Remember dreams belong to you, if it means anything at all by searching you will know it. Or eventually you'll forget about it.

I would say that these people are draning you, or perhaps you feel your being blocked right now in your life by some force, even could be a spirtual block you built, that is holding you back or trying to, I would suggest some meditations and it wouldn't hurt to activate the crown chakra, third eye chakra either...
but it is clear that something is negative in your life that needs be dealt with or your with your self and perhas how you see yourself..

You can open your third eye by gently rubbing it with your finger.

I'm actually a little skeptical about the whole third eye thing. Is'nt it actually just a gland that happens to sit under your frontal lobe? It has no ability to see. But possibly it could be stimulated to release certain hormones that enhance brain activity. I think we should be medically realistic at least.

I don't need to. My life is always in constant routine, & if anything changes, I will know about it beforehand. The funny thing is my teacher always gets ticked at me if I try to answer a question b4 he even asks it, & I get it right!

Well,
1) I don't guess too well in front of people(I did that zener card thing online, but it said on there, "We are watching you!" so I kind of goofed up), but I will try to give it a shot (I usually do my guessing for my history teacher when I am in solitude).......
2)Also, I usually have 5 choices to make in a guess (like card concentration!).
3)What do you want me to guess, the impact or the movie.....or your life impact?
In a way, your life was deeply effected in this movie by perhaps the mercy the characters showed in it.....this movie had you amazed by the amount of mercy one can have that on someone, even if they don't deserve it.
Well, I really don't know the movie, b/c there are zillions of movies out in the world, but if it was a movie that you saw in March, it could be a ring of endless light, b/c it had dolphins on it.
Or maybe it could be Lord of the Rings, b/c the characters show mercy on an evil character, whom in the end commits suicide.
It could be one of those LD movies that were mentioned in this forum (I cannot recall any of them!)
But If you are interested in sports, the one that could have touched you may have been Rudy, or Remember the Titans....those rocked!
But I am sorry, I am totally distracted........I cannot guess well in that situation, & when I guess, I usually have multiple choices(weather is multiple choice. What one may ask is one of many that one may say!) I would like to say that I know that you are into sports, & may like to become a guess wizard, too!

Thats a cruel joke, dont pay any attention to that. but I can't give you multiple choice, five items so you have a twenty percent chance. No if you have the juice you have to do it blind. Hmmmmm. You are being pursued by those whom you perceive to be zombies all intent upon prevailing upon you with their open Agna Chakras. By far and wide in the greater spiritual community, to have an open Third Eye is considered a positive development. However in many of our Western Societies, with the influence of Secularists, religion-less protestants and unimaginative Catholics, and godless and amoral Free Masons, a constant media borage aimed at making the general population cautious regarding ‘Cults’, may have made many of us grow suspicious of the Signs of Spiritual Initiation. So it is you may see the Initiation into the Eye of Wisdom as a joining into the Cult Life of Zombiehood.

This dream has some parallels to the Dream of Death – the Dream where one runs and runs away from the Monster or Killer, but eventually where one has to confront Death to know it has no power to permanently kill. Likewise, I can’t suppose that you are intended to run away from your Spiritual Initiation forever.

Yet, I should add that a healthy suspicion of Cults would not be entirely out of place. Some do charge an awful lot of money, and promise much more than can actually be delivered, at least by themselves and their organizations. The Third Eye Initiation is actually quite accessible, if you know how to go about procuring it for yourself. An old stanza from the Upanishads goes “in the presence of a God or Saint, the Third Eye will open”. And it will. You would feel a slight pressure sensation between and above the brow. That’s it, and at first that is all. Unless you are waiting to feel it, you may dismiss it as the most mild of headaches and it will simply ebb away to nothing after a few days. The Trick to receiving the Initiation is to focus upon the Sensation so that it takes root and does not go away, not entirely. If one can retain that sensation for a few days, then one becomes able to summon it up at will.

So, really, there is nothing one really needs to pay for, if you can find the person who gives the Initiation, then being in the same room may be quite all you need to ‘steal’ the initiation. The Gurus are able to sell such things because people don’t generally know what I am telling you. Aren’t you all lucky that I’ve decided to give away all of the trade secrets.

Huckleberry Fin!!! Yeah!! Well, it is me that plays them in secret....look, I cannot guess well in front of people. I can only guess in solitude. I have stagefright!! Stagefright!! That is why I cannot guess when people are breathing down my neck. Like the time that I was playing card concentration on my DS, & someone started watching me, expecting me to get them right, but I couldn't. Stagefright makes me lose my focus, & that is why I cannot guess in front of people....just please try to understand.....don't be mad at me.
