weird, funny dream with odd emotions.

a few nights ago i had a dream where i was either on a sidewalk in a city or in a mall, somewhere with lots of people. i randomly started shrinking smaller and smaller and never seemed to stop. everyone was staring at me even though i was unbelievably small. usually dreams like this, or so ive heard, are supposed to be about feeling shy and insignificant. i felt like the center of attention and surprisingly it felt great to shrink. it was a real strong feeling. in real life i usually enjoy being taller than others although im a pretty short guy. im also shy so being the center of attention feels unnatural. can anybody explain this to me? thanks for the answers

I think you've already said it. The shrinking was a way out, a way to retreat into your shyness which is probably a safe place to be. Maybe you associate being small with being shy?

thanks! i never thought of that, and that was the good feeling. i always look for escapes when stressed or shy and ill play guitar most of the time. so my dream escape was to shrink.
