Baseball Dream

This dream came to me last month in August of this year. It concerned a baseball game, an important one, that the major
league team that I follow played in.

The game was played very late at night due to a long rain delay. It was a night game, but due to the rain it didn't start
until about midnight EST, and I was already very tired and so I decided not to stay up to see it on TV, but to go on to bed.
Well, I went to bed, but I was worried about it all night and I am not surprised that I dreamed about it. You see it
was a very important game to decide who would win the Division championship.

As I slept, I dreamed and there was the baseball stadium, but the players were gone. A voice told me that I should not
worry because my team had won. Sure, I thought, scores delivered to my dreams! What will they think of next? Of course
I knew it was a dream and so I did not believe it. About 5:00 my dogs wanted to go outside and so they woke me up
and I let them out and I went online and checked the baseball scores. My team had won, as I had dreamed. It was the only
game in the three game series that our side won, but they already had a lead in the standings and it was enough. Today
their magic number to be assured of first place is down to 4. They will get it.

I have had other dreams in my past that seemed to come true, and can not think of any that I had which spoke to me
of unseen events that did not come true. But if I have another one like this one, will I beleive it? Only after I check
the ball scores!!
