is it possible to have a controled Ld every night??

From reading all of this you all make it seem that it's very rare to have a controled LD. I hope this isn't the case also i was wondering how many times you Ld during a month.
I looked on the search to see if i could find anythin on this but i couldn't find it but if i missed it i'm sorry for cluttering the forum.

As you can tell I'm a noob.

It all depends on the person. I myself dont get that many. Probably 5 or more in a month while LDguy gets like 20+ in a month. See what I mean?

i had my first LD i think 4 days after finding this site, and today was my first day, also i think had ld's before today but just lacked dream recall to remember them.
how do you know if you aren't in a 'dream' right now?

I recently had some sort of LDing spree, (had about 5 in one week then like 4 in the next..) but none of them were very controlled, and all of them were short... I also forgot a lot of detail about them, so I think I should work on recall again. If advanced techs arent working for you, try using simple stuff or just go back to the basics, youd be suprised at the results...

I think that if you mastered the Wild tech. ( and I mean MASTERED) then it would be easy to have at least 1 a night with the rigght level of commitment.

It depends on the person. There are people ('naturals') that have LDs unintentionally multiple times in a night. Most people have to work to acheive lucidity, and many have a hard time becoming lucid once a month. Others have LDs every other night or so...

I usually don't LD at night, maybe it's because I sleep too deeply and I usually have no dream recall (probably from the xanies) but I do usually LD every morning from about 7am-10am usually like 5-10 short - long LDs varying in length and control...same goes for when I nap, I will either have one long one or like 5-6 short ones with either minimal or much control...just depends. But I'm in a groove now...sometimes I go a week without an LD, then all of a sudden, BAM they're back.

I recently found a book at the local Barnes and Nobles, which is basically a 30-day program to follow to have regular, highly lucid dreams by means of building up skills and learning new techniques to remember your dreams, become more aware of them, gain lucidity, enter high lucidity, and using techniques to control and learn from your dreams. It tells you of things to think about during each day when you wake up and right before you fall asleep. It looks very promising, already on day 3 of the program.

It's named Lucid Dreams in 30 Days by Keith Harary and Pamela Weintraub. Check it out.

Will do. 'Course, I'm rather...income-less for the moment (and a cheap bastard to boot!), so I'll be reading it and taking notes in the isles of Barnes & Noble. Then again, the clerks there are used to that now. They all know me by name...

Yes it is possible to have lucid dreams every nite. I have between 1-5 lucid dreams a night. I have lucid dreams about 6 out of 7 days. Just find a technique that works for you. Part of my technique that I try to push on people 8) is to know that you will have lucid dream. Not just think that you will, know that you will.

      I wish...

I wish I continue my rythm. I'm having LDs every night since I lost the fear of Sleep Paralisys.

I also improved a lot my dream recall.

Both things are being the key to my success. Every LD is becoming with me saying... "Wait a minute, let me do a Reality Check" Then, LD.

I will try hard to keep up LDing everynight cause it is great.

Also importante is to read somehting before sleep cause we feed our subconscious.

      Good Luck!!

      Very good advice Zapp!

Reading is especially helpful for people new to lucid dreaming. If you have a book about lucid dreaming, you can study techniques while getting your mindset right to lucid dream. Also, any novel you might happen to read will often affect your dreams as well. Read a lot of fantasy and you're MUCH more likely to dream about fantasy-related subjects. Use reading to your advantage at all times!
