Thread: How do you meet people in dreams? :o

Like how do you find your crush/childhood hero/Other Mother/pet rabbit? I would normally just go to their house, but this only works if they live near me in real life. How about if it's an imaginary person? I can never find people in my dreams.

Now back to the question.
I've met my Other Mother in a few non-lucid dreams before... sometimes it was really scary, like instead of eyes she had buttons, or instead of buttons she had empty sockets! *faints*
But if I was in a lucid dream I'd be able to ask her to give me anything I want. You know... like in Coraline... before everything goes wrong and they realise the Other Mother is actually evil.
Problem is, I just can't find her!!

I had a few Coraline lucids after watching the movie. One of them, the Other Father took a circular saw to my head....to give me a haircut. Haha. It was beyond creepy.

Anyway. DCs are a little harder to track down if you've only met them a couple of times. If you're lucid, another thing you can do is ask a random DC "Do you know where my Other Mother is?" If that doesn't work, like I said, try imagining her in the house next door and go over there, something like that. If you believe she will be there, I think you'll find her.

Edit: Ooh, yeah, you could make the little door! That's pretty clever. I bet it would work the best, too. If it works please post the dream so I can read it, I love Coraline themed dreams!

I just want to be a spoiled brat for a night.

Sometimes my DCs don't cooperate.
I've had to resort to physical assault to get my way once. lol

lol! Yeah, I can relate to that. A lot of my DCs seem to just want to be aggravating. Maybe it's best not to rely on them too much after all.

I've tried cell phones. They don't really work.

Maybe next time I'll try shaking, like when Alice shakes the Red Queen and she turns into her pet kitten.

Or I could find a little wallpapered-over door leading into the other world.

I've still yet to master controlling dreams.

When it comes to finding a specific person in a dream, I usually pull out my cell phone, punch in their name and call. Then I tell them to come over.

The other thing I do is simply imagine/visualize them in the next room or house, and when I go through the door, there they are.
