Thread: killed someone in a ld

Yeah whenever i take on the Yakuza with one of their crazy bases i kill the guards.

i only kill if they intend to hurt me first i dont do random people of the street, i steal their things tho ...

The other night, I became lucid and accidentally killed a friend. The dream went like this:
I was playing with my rubik's cube when I said, "Wow, this rubik's cube has waaaay to many sides. This must be a dream!" I then told everyone in my class that this was only a dream. They seemed very excited at the fact. Me and a girl decided to try flying. We stepped out of the window of our third floor classroom onto a balcony. She decided to go first. She jumped of... and crashed down to the ground, breaking her neck and squirting blood everywhere. It was terrible. I lost lucidity and woke up shortly after.

I guess I didn't kill her directly , but I still felt responsible at the time.

Yeah, I once while in a dream was being chased by individuals who had the intent of killing me. While running from them I carried out a successful RC and as I turned around, I was suddenly stabbed in the stomach. I pulled out the knife and killed the entire group of people in the most gruesome manor possible. It was quite fun! If it's enjoyable in a dream, it must be the same during the waking state as well. Hmmm...

About 4 pages worth of what this threads about to become.

Once, I got angry and insta-killed a bunch of DCs to prove to someone I did, indeed, have absolute power. My behavior got me perma-banned from the server. I was just minding my own business, making people drop dead with a simple thought, one after another, when suddenly, someone hits a button, and now I'm just disembodied data, unable to do anything at all. It was really weird.

Ever since i started programming i get that , instead of a dream fading it crashes

so i boot it back up only for it to crash 5 mins later.

i think its my brains way of saying "get the hell out of bed"

lol

All too often I have more fun with them. I like to tell them "oh look, you're missing an arm now" or "hey look at that elephant in the sky... above you".

Killing it simple and can be done with a thought. Do it creatively!

yes, people have done it before. Often. Almost always, in some cases...

but it doesn't bother you folks at all? that you enjoy killing allthough it's a dream? I would only enjoy killing someone who really deserved it, not just because they were irritating me.. maybe this gives you a sense of power, but in the real world this kind of power is punishable by law.. and with good reason. Better use words instead of violence.. words are real power.. the universe was created with words.. think of it..

And moreso.. suppose this LD'íng is a test, to see how we humans would interact in a world without boundaries, without rules.. then many of us will have miserably failed the test.

I do use words. It's the easiest way to kill someone.

Also, I never said I enjoyed it, but when a DC starts annoying me in my own dream I can either ignore it out of existence, or kill him. The latter is usually easier and more efficient. These things are, more than likely, just constructs of ourselves. I have no issue doing to them what I will.

Your suggestion that people who kill in LDs are going to perform that action in the real world is just silly, and not worth a proper rebuttal.

Furthermore, of all the ways the universe could have been created, it is incredibly unlikely that it was created using a system humans invented billions of years later. Seriously.

i am not suggesting that people will do this in the real world as it is.. i was referring to a world whithout boundaries. how come you read something different then what I type?

the only reason we kill is because we know its a dream and not real if the world sudenly lost all law and order lucid dreamers wouldnt kill people because they are real.

lucid dreamers know the diference between dreams and reality.

I think it´s clear to everyone that we want to do things in lds that we cant in real life (otherwise we would already in real life).
killing someone is an extreme, but also interesting thing. I´m quite sure everyone thought about how it feels to kill someone at least once in their lives.
We wouldnt really do it in real life, but we can in LD, so of course we try!

I didnt kill someone so far, but I´m only at the beginning of LD. But I know I´m gonna do that someday
