Oh yeah i know what you mean, last night i had a lucid where i was on my old street in another state, i was standing at the end of the driveway and this nba player named paul pierce and some other guy were running at super high speed. Leaving a trail of either wind that you can actually see, or fire or smoke or something, i couldn't tell what that stuff was coming from those dcs, but they zipped passed me.

Hi Hope it doesn't seem off topic but wile I have never lucid dreamed just to try fighting or martial arts I have had some non lucid dreams that I fought in and had very vivid dream recall. In these dreams I had feeling and everything just like real life but not the same strength. An example is once in a dream somebody was starting trouble with a friend of mine and the person got violent. I got him down quickly with no problem and wile I was winning with little effort I didnt feel like I was hitting hard. I was repeatedly pounding him in the face but whenever it connected my arm felt like rubber. When you dream if you connect or land a hard hit does it feel like real life or are you just going through the motions?

Wile I wasnt practicing martial arts and have never had the desire to dream just to go fight I am curious what it feels like for you who focus on it and are lucid for it.

I have very realistic dreams, so yes I usually feel the hits and such. Of course the feeling of pain and such is quite different from real world, but still. I feel them
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

I guess it would have been different if I had actually been lucid. It was just weird to remember so clearly how it felt like I was putting so much into it and not doing much. It was like I was swinging with all my strength but my fist was a cushion and the instant it connected the momentum went away.

You can improve it by practice you just to focus more on feelings in the dream and you start to actually feel it better. At least in my case.

Or practice more in reality. I had the same situation before, when you feel so weak in dreams and can barely fight. however, after I started practicing Wing Chun and built some confidence, I can annihilate any DC who decides to do battle, so I think it's more of a self image thing than actual gauge of strength, at least in my experiences.

Well of course, whatever strengthens your mind and makes it more confident is enough, since dream control operates completely with your mind.

but if you strive to perfect your dream control, there seems to be very little boundaries in dreams I aim to reproduce realistic feelings and senses.
