You could also simply will the wall or window away, nothing even having to pass trough it anymore...but mabey its about the kick of walking trough something.. |

"You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection."
~Buddha
the only reason you wouldnt be able to do it would be becuase you cant do it in reality and your use to that. just tell yourself your dreaming and that anything is possible. dont even think about it, just go right through it. |
|
i guess its basically faith. hmm do u think this applys to flying too? |
|
Of course, if you believe you can walk through walls and doors, than why not fly? I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to. |
|
yah, just will it, the other night when i wanted to go through the ceiling, i took off flying fast and just busted the shit out of it(the ceiling), and then later the floor. |
|
The only sucess I have had with that is through glass, I put my hadn on it and imagined myself on the other side, looking in instead of looking out I closed my eyes and POP! I was on the outside. |

His heart knows only virtue.
His blade defends the helpless.
His might upholds the weak.
His word speaks only truth.
His wrath undoes the wicked."
Impossible is only that which has yet to be imagined
when you I read what you said Seri, i thought of the Matrix, where Neo puts his hand on the mirror, and the "glass" like covers his whole body... |
|
Well, actually you can walk through a door in the waking reality. Since (most) solid objects are mostly made up of empty space it's just a question of probability. If you try enough times you will succeed. |
|
i went through a wall last night. |
|
hehe...sweet. what was it like? |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.

i can sympathize cookie, i am having real trouble with windows and ceilings in the few LDs i've had so far, i flew right through a ceiling once, i dematerialized like a ghost to get through it, i could see the inside of the ceiling and the rafters as i floated upwards, then the next LD i tried again and got my arm stuck halfway through the ceiling! then last night i flew up to a window and stopped dead infront of it like my mind just wouldn't allow it to happen, almost seem to be going backwards in this regard.... |
|
I find your lack of faith disturbing...
My abilities in dreams seem fairly hit-or-miss but I'm generally pretty good about passing through matter, particularly going straight up or down through ceilings or floors. |

"...all life is only a set of pictures in the brain, among which there is no difference betwixt those born of real
things and those born of inward dreamings, and no cause to value the one above the other. " H. P. Lovecraft
Finally remembered last night to try this, freaky! |

It's weird - in my own dreams, I can't just go through doors and whatnot, I have to physically open them. It's freakish how realistic my dreams are sometimes, because I can feel how cold the doorknob is, feel the weight of the door as I open it. But the only limiting factors are lack of faith, as was mentioned, and fear. I've had extremely frightening experiences when opening doors, like that, but most of the time it's not, and so far I don't think anyone's died that way, so it's safe.. even if you don't know you're afraid, there's probably some subconscious fear or uncertainty holding you back. |
|
I can go through walls in dreams. There is no trick. I generally have superpowers even in non-lucid dreams, such as telekinesis and passing through walls. You can start by passing your hand through the wall, and then pass your body when you are confortable. |
|
i think if ur dream feels its normal too go through wall you could. in certain dreams of mine (non-lucid ones) i can go through walls. but in lucid ones where i feel i shouldnt be able to i cant. |
|
I went through a wall once, but in a non-lucid dream. |
|
Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
I walk through walls also but not as often. I like the fact of willing doors and windows to swing open I think thats cool, however I do like walking through mirrors because on the other side of my mirrors is always another dream world one that I haven't made up so thats fun to me. |
|
I lost gravity in my garage one time and floated through the garage door. I ended up floating down the street. Suddenly I headed for space and ended up in some nebula somewhere. |

East Texas...where men are men and sheep are afraid
now one problem is trying to stop flying. once i go up i cant seem to stop... until i crash back down some how |
|
I flew trough the ceiling in my last lucid dream.... at first i bumped my head but I then took a deep breath and I just thought I'm supposed to be able to do this... these are all my creations. Then I went trough it, hands first. It was pretty strange because the ceiling cracked but it did not crumble, which was one of the first things I recalled when I woke up, the image of the ceiling cracking and folding around my hands... |
