I have perfect dream control- but I really need advice on something...

I am only here because I need help, if you think my story is insane or stupid, please just dont talk to me. I would rather just avoid conflict. The following is pretty out there....but this is what I am dealing with.

I dont think I just dream anymore, I think I go somewhere while my eyes are shut. Everyone I tell just thinks I am insane. I need answers, someone please. I converse with beings in my dreams and ask about their worlds, I ask if this is all my imagination. I ask if I made them up, or if they are real- somewhere. I used to have different dreams every night, but as I grow older I return to the same place over and over again each night. I have these weird powers in my dreams, I guess you could compare it to super powers. The people tell me they need my help. They need me to save them. And there is one boy who also has these powers, he helps me. I search for him in every dream. I cant even have a normal relationship because I feel like I'm cheating on this boy in my dreams. It has gotten to the point where I sleep every chance I get- just to be in this dream world of mine.

I'm not sure what to say really, I'm not going to make fun of you, I'm just not sure what to say.

Well, if it seems real, and you keep going back, then it might be real somehow. Help the people, find out what their problem is. Real or not, it would benefit you greatly if you manage to.

I'm a bit jealous of you actually. I've never had a recurring dream but I've always wanted to

Cool. I get that, too. But only because I want it. I also quest to save a dream race (of invisible people, put under a curse, blah blah blah). While dreaming, and while preparing to dream, I take the world seriously, pretending it is real. Each dream adds stability. The same dream characters appear more often and are more stable. Situations reoccur, as do places and phrases. But in the end, I know it's just a dream, produced by chemical reactions in the brain coupled with conscious manipulation.

What do the dream characters say about their dream habitat? What are their answers to your deep questions? I am interested in hearing their answers.

The boy is apart of yourself. You cannot cheat on yourself! Unless, of course, you blindly accept the morals set down by your real-life new lover. Then I'd consider that cheating on your subconscious. Go love, but don't lose your identity in the process. That's what it means.

Don't try and sleep more often than you need to. That can be bad for your health. Also, it is unlikely that you will dream after your body has had its fill of REM sleep, so after a while your napping will be dreamless.

Your statement that your soul goes somewhere during the dream is unfalsifiable, so I will not comment on it further, except by saying that it's all a matter of belief and perception.

Feel free to PM me anytime.

You should look up Emmanuel Swedenborg. He too dreamed of consistent dream worlds, and wrote several books about them, the most famous being Heaven and Hell. It's available online here...
      http://swedenborg.newearth.org/hh/hh00toc.html

it has heavy religious overtones, but his source material all comes from his dreams.

Try to just go "somwhere else" every time and if nothing bad happens just f*ck it. Or try to kill the DC's that need help, it sounds a bit bad, but it will release you from this shit.

ever think maybe the boy could be your Dream guide. But if you want honest advise- Its a dream bud. No matter what at the end of the day your gonna wake up. I suggest to kill the Little boy LOL Im just kidding. But I think you shouldnt take what your DC's say serious or do because its not real. The DCs arent real- just honest advise

Well, all i can say is that those sound like interesting experiences.

If it were me I'd work on gaining more conrtol over the DCs instead of letting them control me. To me it sounds as if you're not really in control of things even though you possess super powers. Why not help the DCs to help themselves instead of letting them rely on you. Teach them to wield their own powers and defend themselves and that way you can spend more time doing other things in dream.

I must say that I have had this before, where you always return to the same place with the same friends and the same enemies and the same task.
The way I got out of the 'loop' was to accomplish whatever your final goal is in your reocurring dreams.
I seriously spent about 2 months in the same dream, every dream I had very quickly took me to the point I ended last time. It is must be something in the brain telling itself that there is a task unfinished. It keeps taking itself back to finish what it thinks it needs to do.

Thats my theory anyway, and it got me out of my reoccuring dream.

Also, try to have some fun along the way

Dreams are addicting some times and its very easy to develop a problem with this. The important thing is to keep a sense of balance between your waking world and your dream world. Unless you feel as though the two over lap, it doesn't really matter if the dream world is 'real' or not. It is real to you and that is what matters. The important thing to remember however is that the dream world is yours and yours alone. The only reason why you may not feel capable of changing the pattern of what happens in your dreams is because you believe you can not, or because you simply do not want to and that is okay too. The only way these dreams would classify you as insane is if they caused you to lose touch with the waking reality.

The ability to happily respond to any adversity is the divine.

Sounds exciting to me, but perhaps after a while it might not be.
In any event, I'm fairly convinced it's not 'real', outside of yourself anyway.

While you're in the dream though, it's as real as anything else. So treat it as an adventure, and help them.
But when you wake up, remember it's a different world. Blurring the line of reality and dreams is a not advised.

sounds interesting...and for the most part awesome...aside from it having repercussions in this world. I've been thinking for a while how cool it would be if I had a lasting relationship in my dreams (taking into account that I'd feel like im cheating on someone). Definitely Audrey Hepburn. I could spend eternity with Audrey Hepburn... but anyways. I've never had a reoccurring dream before. And I'm pretty sure I've never been to another world. I think it might be cool, but having a reoccurring nightmare would just suck. Anyways. I can't say if what you're describing is true or not either so... but yeah, good luck with that. PM me and tell me what it's like. In fact, you should make a dream journal, chronicling your adventures. It could be a fantasy, adventure, romance... I'd subscribe to that.

I'll try to say this as carefully as possible:
      There's something wrong with you.

      Or is there?

I think you rushed to conclusions there, if you haven't had such an experience then you don't really know what you are talking about.

I have had something similar (as I said earlier) and it is perfectly normal, it is just a re-occuring lucid dream. Re-occuring dreams are normal, lucid dreams are normal, and so is this.

And besides, I don't know where you get the word 'wrong' from.

      Ocean Eyes!!

you are awesome and there is nothing wrong with you!! your view point on your journey is great, and I share a similar sentiment, and experience in my dreams.

I know what I do and where I go in my dreams is not all in my head. It is inspiring to read about someone else who feels the same way. People will ask for help and it is great to help them when \ if we can.

But we must also remember that we are apart of two worlds. That one and this one. If we are to continue helping there we must attempt to retain a sense of balance and peace while we are not there.

Try not to worry about it and let the experiences continue as they have, naturally.

I do not know if you will read this but either way I will make a request for help to be sent your way.
"“Evil? Good? These are merely words. In the eyes of the universe neither of those exist. There are only three elements, that act as a base for all that you see around. There is Light. There is Dark. And there is the balance between those two. Good and Evil are concepts, used to deny oneself from serving the balance. By serving, you participate in the great creation."

      Talking i hope

4 you that you manage to help those beings...

have you tryed to ask them what they think of you?
or what they think of dreams and the mind.
personaly i think there is a lot of universes... this universe lets call it the physical universe is just one of them... and in this universe we have terms like are we awake, is this real ect... and so there is a lot of universes whith there own dominating realety!! its all an illusion, but there are many beings having this illusion, and so what.... its pretty nice to have illusions, or else there would be nothing...simply nothing at all... but yeah itīs going to be nice, having a bit control over things... the physical univers is pretty booring!!! so lets go forward in this very exiting jurney of freedom... and 4 those considering us for fools... he he he... see you in a million years or so, couse im gonna be in control of time, space and infinite power...lol we all gonna get there is only one qestion.. who are ready to let lose old considerations on what is posible and not.....and with this forum i can see that alot of beings are on the right track see u all...

What is real is what u say is real. I consider my dreams to be real i mean why would we dream it seems like there is no point in them so there has to be something. This whole life is considered a dream if u compare it to living in heaven/hell. This is just 80 years and heaven is eternity. So basically I just consider this life to be a dream but I still consider it real. You and many others belive the dream world is somewhere were are souls go, and you are a leader at heart. In your dreams or whatever u want to call them you lead people and save them because that is what you feel like you have to do. I just think at all the people saying your crazy are just simple people that don't really care about any of this stuff.

I'm not a psychologist (yet! ) but I'm going to say that it IS a dream definitely
and something in your life or in your mind is causing this recurring dream. Perhaps if you save the people in your dream, or figure out and resolve what's wrong in real life, should that be the case, then this recurring dream will simply go away and you will go back to normal.

you went to THE WORLD i never understood it really, but i had been going there since i was very young - maybe the first grade, i think you should do this- start lucid dreaming with the methods that thay show in the site- you will see a huge diff- you will be able to dream regular dreams and not push yourself to much emotionaly, THE WORLD is, i belive your home, what i mean is that at least for me - when im there ALL i wanna do is just stay, if i could id live there all the time - there you are happier than it is possible in real life by about 100000, but you gotta understand- its the same as drugs- if you do something- do it with balance and dont go turning in to a junky..
good luck in getting your other life back
