Find a television, turn it on, change the channel while imagining the place I want to be. The picture of the place appears. I jump into the TV and I'm there.

Im partial to using hand motions, so personally, slamming my hand against the ground, then having a bunch of "signs" appear in the shape of a circle, assemble a bright light, then teleport.

Oh I've played that game and know what you are talking about (I'm the only person I know who actually liked that game).

But yeah that would be cool, I sometimes try and run through walls while dreaming, and most of the time my teleportation involves just floating up through a ceiling, in a similar fashion to Shadowrun.

Haha yeah, that's a good one. (No I don't watch blues clues) Like some others have said, I'd also like to draw a portal and just jump inside.

My hand starts glowing blue and I draw a circle, which then (hopefully) becomes a portal. Doesn't always work for me, but it's my favourite way.

my favorite way, and I have tried a few, I have done the tv one and the making a portal one, but my favorite way is I just let my eyes go out of focus and think about the place I want to go and when I refocus my eyes, im there

i have also tried the fly up into the air and when I look back down at the ground im at the place I want to be, but that one I dont like so much, its kinda dull for some reason

paint a picture of where you want to go and then "fall" into it

Whenever I want to teleport I just think 'teleport' . Another way is to find an item that I think of belonging to the place I want to teleport to, then I touch the item and I'm teleported there.

      hm...

-I would just dissapear all of a sudden and reappear where I want to be.
-Or summon up a portal just by think(in a second), walk through it, and directly walk out where I want to be.

      Those I like most certainly.

My brother just thought of an excellent idea.

Ever seen that advert for the car (forget what car it is) where the guy has a door handle, and opens invisible doors to different locations? That would be a cool way of teleporting. just remember when you become lucid, to carry around a magic door handle!!!

It is quite unglamorous for me. The scenery changes instantly with no special effects. It is, however, extremely quick.

      Just thought of another one.

I don't know if many of the members at DV play any of the half-life games and those related, but a new game comes out very soon (10th) called portal.

The idea is you have a gun that creates a blue gateway where-ever you left click and an orange gateway where-ever you rightclick. Using these two portals you enter the blue and come out of the orange! (and vise-versa) So in essence you could use this in your LD's.

What seems even more amazing though is it sounds to me as if it adds a new dimension to dreaming, where in you can now have a paradox of rooms in say for instance a mud hut!!! (that is of course if you haven't done so already. I'm just creating ideas.)

      ...... Enjoy?

I tried walking through a mirror once, but it didn't work. It seems I have quite a ways to go in the art of teleportation.

      1) Creating portals with my mind and then going into them.
      2) Kind of like the Keymaker in the matrix opena door to a room full of doors and pick one.
      3) DBZ style ^_^

Ack. I haven't have a true lucid dream in a long time. I mean I'll be aware of my environment and be aware that I am dreaming, but I'll have no control of the world around me.

That's not to say I can't TRY teleporting, the only problem is that I'll wind up screwing it over by waking up, sadly.

That being said, I'm going to see if I can't Lucid tonight, and if I can (Which I'm not sure if I will be able to) I'll try out the walking thing, or driving, whichever is more convenient. Because I don't want to screw it up, for sure.

I enjoy getting to my destination almost as much as being there
I always reach up to my neck and there's a necklace there. It's an intricate silver key on a pure white chain. I take it off and it starts to glow. i let go of it, and it hovers in the air. I say a word (which i'm not going to tell you, because it's embarrassing >_> ) and the key flashes forward with a blinding white light, and stops abruptly stops a few yards away. Light seeps out of the key, slowly taking the shape of an arched doorway. The light dies away, leaving a tall double-door of some whiteish wood, with silver tracery (it's purty ). I walk up to the door, say "Reveal (destination)!" and push the doors open. Once i'm through i turn around and close the door. there's a keyhole on the left door, and my key necklace is in it, so i take it off and put it around my neck. Once i forgot to do that, and i couldn't use my door in my next lucid. I couldn't teleport at all, actually. The best i could do was put on magic pants that made me run really fast XD
Luckily, my key came back in my next lucid.

      >_> this post makes the process seem really long, but it really takes about 30 seconds.
...Everybody should do it my way. Because i think everything should be done my way.

Wow, that must've taken quite a lot of concentration when you first started doing that method. I find it interesting how you forgot it one night and you couldn't use it the next time. It's very... intriguing.

I create portals by spinning my hand in a circular motion to create one big blue swirling portal. Then I just step in. I also like mirrors, except I've gotten into some sticky situations using them. I really like foolish's necklace idea; very cool, maybe I'll try that next lucid. also, domo-kun!

Actually, not so much. I was bored in school one day so i started doodling in my notebook, and i ended up drawing a key and a door, so i daydreamed about it, and i thought "heeey...i could use this to move around in dreams!" and the next time i had a lucid i instinctively reached to my neck, expecting the key, and it was there.

I think the reason i couldn't use it the one time is because i got it in my head that it was still in the door, and i couldn't get to the door without the key, and i had never tried any other kind of teleportation, so i didn't know how. I suppose i could keep a spare under a doormat

Lunalight: you should definitely try it! you should sketch up a key and a door first, though. just to give your mind a hold on it. And yes! domo-kun!
