Thread: Possibly new dream control idea

There has been alot of buses in my ld's lately and last night when i saw a bus outside my house in an ld i thought since i find it hard to get to places having poor dream control and all, i thought i could catch the bus and ask the bus driver i want to go to where i wanted to (after all thats what buses are for) u could also use the bus to visit a person.

I don't know whether this has been thought of before but i thought i'd post it and see what u think.

An easier option would be to open a door to where you want to go. Works wonders for me

Exactly what I do. Though watching the journey taken through the window of the bus would be an interesting experience. I'd quite like to try that... Right after the next lucid task and my apparent lucid wedding.

Wouldn't you have to sit through the bus ride, then? "LD" means "limited duration." (Okay, it doesn't, but still.)

Yeah you would, but being a dream it might only be a 5 second bus ride

What u could do is look at the floor on the bus then expect when u look up u will be there.

sounds very interesting. it sounds very easy as well. ill take the LD buses for now on and see if it works

This gave me an idea for a method of portal opening I could try...

I grab a knife, slash the air in front of my and have it tear reality and create a rip for me to climb through...

Sounds interesting.

Anyone tried out this idea yet? I would like to hear what happens

I suppose you could. This technique could work with a bus, taxi, limo, plane, or most vehicles really.

I wonder which would be weirder, the people on a bus in an LD or people on a bus in real life?

Good question. The few times times i have been on buses in ld's the people seemed pretty normal. I remember once i was at this bus stop and there were people on the bus but no driver so i improvised. I got in the drivers seat and drove off and i was trying to make conversation with the dc's on the bus at the same time but i think they were too scared to say anything. (when some random guy gets in the drivers seat and drives off i suppose anyone would) After a while i realised that there was a hot dc at the back of the bus so i asked a dc to take over which he did (what a nice dc) i went up to her and started kissing her then her dc friend started attacking me telling me to get off, shortly after i lost lucidity. (u gotta hate hot dc's friends.)

I might try that next time spinning or creating portals doesn't work, but I don't usually see many buses, or any vehicles, in my dreams. But sounds like a good idea

sounds like a good idea, make it a flying bus or a jet supersonic bus or a busubmarine or soemthing and go even faster, further, deeper to a place where you normally dont think you could get too

Yeh that would be interesting.

Since i thought of this technique i have only seen a few buses.

I really like this idea. You could ask the bus driver to let you off as soon as possible too. I think this tech. might give you're subconcious some much needed stalling time in creating the scene before you demand to enter it.

Funny, since i posted this i have seen no buses in my lucid dreams.

Anyone tryed this technique?
